From real to virtual: Re-imagining reality through digital art by @HAZAR0c50a82765
Ms. Hazar, I've had a look into your submission, and it is such a heartwarming to see such thoughtful approach in your class where your students are able to convert and transform their artworks into digital forms. You are correct, in this era of ICT, students or teenagers are more exposed to internet and smart devices, that somehow leads them into a disconnection to the world of traditional arts. Your activity with your students refreshes and reforms their access into visual arts. It is combining a world of clay, glue, and papers with apps, virtual environment and ecosystem.
It is a humble gesture in accepting the two contrast realms where students are welcome to express their creativity, perspectives and ideas together. The way they create the artworks, and how they transform them into virtual representation are enhancing their multiple skills. It enhances self-learning, collaborative works, and supportive community.
With a lot of limitations for us to access arts supplies, your sharing has opened a new venture for those who might experience the similar circumstances. I do hope that your government, along with the private sector, will start paying more attention and providing more supports to such activities. Thank you for sharing with us about your efforts and approaches where students are more than welcome to explore and express their visual ideas more freely. Digital arts is one promising field in the near future, I am sure your students will feel the benefits of doing such activity in your class. Hopefully this will inspire more teachers and educators to stay brave and bold in venturing into new ways in guiding our young learners.
Looking forward to seeing more of your students doing the similar projects! Thank you.
Kind regards,
Hendra
