    I’m Alwesha Memon, a passionate primary school teacher at GBPS in Matiari, Sindh, Pakistan. With a Master’s degree in English and a recently completed B.Ed, I bring both academic strength and practical teaching insight to the classroom. Over the past three years, I’ve dedicated myself to shaping young minds through creative, student-centered learning. I believe every child carries hidden potential, and it’s our role as educators to uncover and nurture it with patience, and empathy. Teaching, to me, is not just a profession . it’s a mission to light the way for the next generation.

      In my point of view grades should be replaced because they just shows number not students learning, capacity and creativity. Competency based learning show how much student know and can do and indeed portfolio shows their creativity in portfolio and progress over time. These methods are more student cantered, more meaningful to assess their learning and capabilities.that way students would be focused on learning not just getting marks and grades.

You’re absolutely right implementing the flipped classroom approach does require extra effort and time , but seeing the students engaged and learning meaningfully makes it all worth it, and I loved this method Flipped classroom that changed the game more time, deeper learning, and stronger student connection.

      Kinaesthetic learners are all about doing things physically. Role playing, like hands on learning style where people understand best by doing, flashcards or carrying out the actions physically can help them learn things better. Instead of reading or listening, they grasp concepts through movement, touch, and physical experience.

      Let’s discuss some Kinaesthetic Learning Activities to build activity bank 🏦 🧠🧐

      🚆Human Sentence Train 🏃‍♀️
      What it is:
      Students each hold a word card (like “The,” “cat,” “runs”).
      They move around, then line up in the right order to form a sentence—becoming a living sentence train.

      🌄🗃️Prepare Word Cards
      Write nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc., on cards and place them in different boxes or baskets around the room.Call out a task like:🎁
      Find a verb and act it out! 🤫
      Grab an adjective and match it to a noun!

      🏃‍♂️📦 Run and Match
      🏞️Place word cards (e.g., apple, run, happy) on one side of the room.
      🕵️‍♂️Place matching cards (pictures or meanings) on the other side.
      🏃‍♀️Students run, grab a word, then run to match it with the correct picture or meaning.
      Example:
      Student picks “apple”, then runs to match it with a picture of an apple.🍎

      Visual or spatial learners supposedly retain information best by viewing picture or images and respond well to colours 🌈, diagrams, charts, videos, written directions and mind maps 🗺️

      @Ridafatima95 I completely agree with this. Gender discrimination affects both girls and boys, and it’s so important that schools create inclusive spaces where everyone feels equal and supported. We need to break these stereotypes and give every student the chance to grow and succeed.
