    • RE: What are your current (or future) challenges in teaching?

      @Hendra
Hi Hendra, thank you for sharing your experience!

I’m a fine art teacher in a Tunisian middle school. One of the major challenges we face here is the lack of resources, especially in art education. Materials are often limited or of poor quality, which makes it difficult to support students in hands-on creative work. In addition, students come from very diverse social backgrounds, and many of them are more engaged with digital tools like smartphones than traditional learning methods.

This pushes me to integrate technology into my teaching—using digital drawing apps, photography, and video editing to make art more accessible and relatable. Another issue is the limited time allocated for art in the curriculum, which restricts our ability to go in-depth or develop long-term creative projects.

Despite these challenges, I try to create a space where students can think critically, express themselves freely, and become more responsible through art. In fact, I’m planning to apply this digital-based approach in my upcoming lessons to better engage my students and make learning more inclusive.

Looking forward to hearing more from you and others here

    • From Real to Virtual: Reimagining reality through digital art.

What about integrate smartphones in fine art lessons? What do you think?
This project aims to engage 7th grade students in a creative, inclusive, and modern exploration of a core visual arts concept: "distance in art" — the varying degrees of representation of reality (realism, stylization, abstraction, etc.).

In response to limited school resources and reduced student interest in traditional art methods, the project leverages a widely available tool: the smartphone. Most students, despite different socio-economic backgrounds, own mobile phones. This project transforms those phones into tools for artistic experimentation and learning.

    • Teachers in the 21st Century: Guiding Students Through Digital Challenges Toward Real-World Awareness

In today’s fast-moving digital age, students are surrounded by screens, AI content, and virtual distractions. But in many cities around the world—especially in poor or under-resourced neighborhoods—students face a double challenge: lack of opportunities in the real world, and confusing illusions in the digital world.

As teachers, our mission is more important than ever. We must help students:

Think critically about what they see online

Stay connected to their real communities

Use digital tools to build, not escape, their future
Grow through creativity, empathy, and awareness
In many disadvantaged areas, education may be one of the few stable tools students have. How can we make it meaningful in this century?

      💬 Let’s share:

-What is your vision for teachers today?

-How do you teach real-world thinking in a screen-heavy culture?

-How can we uplift students in poor neighborhoods through education?

Let’s unite around this mission—no matter where we teach.

    • Global Collaboration Using Bloom’s Taxonomy 2025-2026

Re: Connect to start collaboration for international school projects

After reading previous comments, I felt inspired by the creativity and motivation of fellow educators. What if we take it further by co-creating international projects based on Bloom’s Taxonomy?
Our goal: design shared activities (Knowledge → Comprehension → Application...) that foster critical thinking, cultural exchange, and creativity among students.
Let’s share ideas, co-develop resources, and build a collaborative activity bank for 2025/2026.
Together, let’s turn education into a bridge between cultures.

    • RE: Podcasting for reflective learning

What a fantastic initiative! Yes, I’ve explored audio-based projects as well, last year, I experimented with student-created podcasts through our participation in the national oral reading competition. At first, most of my students were shy and lacked confidence. But with consistent training and encouragement, they became more motivated and enthusiastic. It was amazing to see how their voices grew stronger, not just in articulation, but also in self-expression. By the end, more and more students wanted to join the experience! I’m now considering developing a full podcasting project next year, integrating it more deeply into our curriculum. Audio really opens new doors for reflective and expressive learning.

    • Hey Teachers, Keep Hearts Beating in the Digital Classroom!

Re: Should traditional classrooms be replaced by fully virtual learning environments by 2025?

Reading through this conversation, I’m truly fired up. One thing’s crystal clear: yes, education is evolving — fast, brilliantly, digitally. But in this great transformation, we must never let it lose its soul.

We’ve celebrated how digital tools can personalize learning, boost engagement, and open doors in the most underserved corners of the world. That’s powerful. That’s necessary. But let’s not forget what really keeps students coming back — not apps or algorithms, but adults who care.

🌟 A teacher isn’t just a content provider. They’re a lifeline. A safe place. A spark of hope when everything else feels dark. For the student weighed down by problems at home, drowning in silence, or on the verge of giving up — it’s not the latest software that saves them. It’s the teacher who sees them. Who leans in and says, “Hey… I’m here. I believe in you.”

      💔 Let’s face it:

Some students don’t need more tech — they need more trust.

They don’t need faster Wi-Fi — they need someone who won’t give up on them.

      ✨ Let’s remind ourselves:

A caring look can turn a whole day around.

A kind word can rewrite someone’s story.

A teacher’s belief can light a fire that lasts a lifetime.

So here’s the real question we should be asking: In a world rushing toward digital, how do we keep room for empathy, compassion, and healing?

Imagine a classroom where: ✅ Technology frees up time — not replaces care.
✅ Digital tools spark creativity — but never eclipse humanity.
✅ Every student feels safe, heard, valued — and loved.

Let’s build a future where no child is left behind — not because we had the best tech, but because we had the biggest hearts. ❤️

💭 So… what if the most groundbreaking innovation in education isn’t AI, but empathy?

      Let’s talk. 👇💬

    • Cheer Up, Teachers : in the 21st century, You’re Still the Heart of Education! ❤️📚

Re: Should traditional classrooms be replaced by fully virtual learning environments by 2025?
In a world rushing toward screens and algorithms, let’s pause and remember something powerful:

      ✨ You. Still. Matter.
Not just as instructors — but as lifelines, listeners, and lights in the dark.

Digital tools are amazing. They personalize, they connect, they expand what’s possible…
But they don’t see the silent tears, or notice the student who’s fading behind their smile.
      You do.

You notice when a child stops participating.
You hear the silence between the words.
You show up — again and again — even when you’re tired, underpaid, and overwhelmed.

And that? That’s the real innovation.

Technology will keep evolving. But what transforms a life is a teacher who says:
      “I believe in you.”
      “Take your time, I’m here.”
      “You’re more than your grades.”

      So cheer up, teachers. 💪
You’re not just adapting to the future —
you’re shaping it, one heart at a time.

Let’s keep the fire alive — not just in the lesson plans, but in the connections we build, and the love we give.

💬 What’s the moment that reminded you why you became a teacher?

    • From Paper to Pixels: How Are You Using Digital Tools in Art Education?

      Hi everyone!
For the 2025 Teaching in the 21st Century competition, I’m designing a project that blends traditional visual arts with digital tools like smartphones, editing apps, and even AI. The idea is to help students explore different ways of representing reality. So they can be able to move from observation and realism to more imaginative, expressive styles.

      I'm curious:
How are you integrating technology into your creative or art classes?
What tools or strategies have helped students engage, express, or reflect more deeply?

Let’s share ideas and inspire each other, maybe even collaborate!

@Ridafatima95 Yes, it’s time to revalue the Arts! 🎨
In my classroom, I see how art helps students think creatively, express ideas, and connect with science in deeper ways. STEAM encourages innovation that’s not only smart, but also human and meaningful. Creativity is not extra—it’s essential.

    • RE: Degree or Skill

      @HIRAC405752f6f0 @Mariya-Rajpar @Shaista-Begum @Zymal492cb0cdb1
Absolutely! Degrees build a solid foundation and credibility, but it’s the practical skills such as: problem-solving, adaptability, communication, that truly drive success in today’s world.
Employers want people who can apply knowledge, not just hold certificates. Ideally, combining both education and hands-on skills creates the strongest candidate, but in many cases, real-world ability can open doors even without a formal degree. Continuous learning and demonstrated expertise are key!
That said, the learning systems in many of our countries need to be updated to stay aligned with evolving technology and changing job markets. Education should follow the rhythm of today’s world, blending modern skills with foundational knowledge to prepare students effectively for the future.
How do you think education systems can improve the balance between formal degrees and practical skills?

This is a well-prepared science lesson , clearly explained on the board, then applied using a custom-made template and a 3D mobile app created by the teacher!
The fact that it works offline makes it even more accessible for students to use at home.
We can truly see the engagement and joy in the students’ eyes. The app makes the lesson more comprehensive and helps reinforce the learning. What a brilliant, student-centered approach!!

    • RE: 🌍 Globalization in Education: Bridging Minds Across Borders

      @Samreen-Tahir
Thank you for this inspiring reflection!

As a fine art teacher in Tunisia, I truly believe in the power of globalization in education. It allows us, as educators, to exchange ideas and practices beyond our national contexts, which is especially valuable in fields like art where cultural perspectives enrich creativity.

Through forums like this, I’ve been introduced to innovative approaches that I wouldn’t have discovered locally. I’m currently preparing a digital art project where my students will explore different ways of representing reality — and I hope to eventually connect them with students from other countries to compare their visual interpretations. That’s the kind of experience that shapes open-minded, creative, and responsible individuals.

Globalization isn’t just about access to tools and content — it’s about building bridges between young minds across borders, and helping them grow into global citizens. I’m especially passionate about encouraging girls to express themselves confidently through art and technology, which I believe is a powerful step toward both emotional and financial independence.
