You’re absolutely right. ''Smartphones make art more engaging and accessible''
Especially when many students forget their materials but never their phones!
Turning that into a creative advantage is a way to keep them connected to learning and self-expression.🖼️ From Real to Virtual – Tunisia 🇹🇳

Thank you, Sanaa!
Exactly!! Using apps like Snapseed, PicsArt, or Canva, they can explore “distance in art” through digital editing, layering, and creative transformations. It turns abstract ideas into fun, and expressive experiences.🖼️ From Real to Virtual – Tunisia 🇹🇳

@Sabahat-Jamil Definitely! When used responsibly, it can be very useful for 7th grade students. They often forget their materials because traditional artistic methods feel boring or too slow. These students crave quick, interactive tasks is something that keeps them engaged and taps into their everyday digital habits.

Absolutely! Embracing smartphones in fine art lessons bridges the gap between traditional techniques and modern tools. It not only fosters creativity and relevance but also empowers students to explore art through their own lens—literally and figuratively. This approach celebrates diversity in learning styles while nurturing critical thinking and self-expression. A brilliant step forward for inclusive and innovative art education! -
@Sanaa
I completely agree! It’s an innovative and inclusive strategy that truly modernizes art education. By using smartphones, we’re not only addressing resource limitations but also giving students a relatable, hands-on way to engage with concepts like "distance in art." Digital photography and editing apps open up new avenues for creativity, allowing learners to interpret and express artistic ideas in personal and meaningful ways. -

@LISELLI
Great question, LISELLI!
In case a student doesn't have a working device, we plan to use shared group tasks, printed alternatives, and, where available, they can work whith pairs.
Peer support and flexibility are key so that no one is left out. Thank you for raising this important point.🖼️ From Real to Virtual – Tunisia 🇹🇳

That’s a powerful point. The bridge between data and art via digital tools is something we’d love to explore in future phases and especially environmental themes relevant to our local context.
