1. Lack of infrastructures (schools and related facilities inside)
2. Shortage of funds, less than 2% GDP spending on education
3. Frequently changing educational policies lead to confusion and underachievement
4. Static curriculum ( not regularly updated and unrelated to current and future trends)
5. Lack of teachers and teachers trainings
   Education has become a provincial subject for over a decade. There are improvements but far too slow to catch up with the deficiencies. A holistic multidimensional strategy by govt including all stakeholders can help overcome these obstacles and produce positive results.

@Hendra i'm sabahat from pakistan and my current challenge is quality and learning challenges, ensuring students achieved desired learning outcomes is a significant hurdle, reflecting broader issues with the quality of education in sindh pakistan

Digital Integration and Tech Challenges is a big issue. Not all teachers are equally comfortable with new tools.Unequal student access to devices and internet connectivity also effect teaching.

Your sharing resonates the struggles from a lot of educators around the world. The differences of objectives and limitations from the stakeholders around the school could even hinder the progress of education that is much needed.

Sometimes education community is trapped in between two raging parties with their own agendas. Their shared values cannot be aligned with one another, be it for a political reason, or just simply a factual restrictions on the field.

It has prevented a fair access to education, fundings, or even training. In a vast country with a large number of provinces, with their own regional culture values, struggles, and needs; it has created an unequality to education. Even in just two neighboring municipalities, we could find a contrasting circumstances where the struggles to access a viable and fair quality education is hard to obtain.

What we could do to offer supports for our students amidst these circumstances is to seek assistance and encouragement from other fellow educators to find more ideas, engaging activities, or materials for assessment. Government do offer assistance, however, to some extent it could be a slow process, due to some other limitations they are facing. There should be more consortium of educators such as this forum where we could arm in arm helping and assisting each other, beyond our country borders and timezones.

As a teacher, some of the current challenges I face include engaging students in a rapidly changing digital landscape, addressing diverse learning needs and abilities, and balancing technology integration with traditional teaching methods. Additionally, I struggle with limited resources, large class sizes, and maintaining student motivation and interest. Furthermore, keeping up with curriculum updates, assessments, and administrative tasks can be overwhelming. Perhaps most significantly, I strive to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that acknowledges and addresses the unique experiences, backgrounds, and challenges each student brings to the classroom.

Totally agree! The nature of needs sometimes aren't met with enough of available resources, or time. With the vast growing of ICT, and diverse backgrounds of our students, their needs have created so many combinations that would require specific approaches.

Teaching in classes using visual aids are no longer a problem nowadays, however, now we are being challenged to find the best or most suitable presentation of it. Some students are good with listening to podcast or auditory learning. While some need visual stimulation through video presentation, etc.

Gaining the advantage of the technological development, students themselves now shaping their own characteristics in learning. Study group now can be done via the internet, video conferences, etc, however not every student participating could learn as much as the others who are being stimulated well by the video conference itself.

These different needs could take a lot of time of preparation and reducing our focus and ability to create a deeper engagement in teaching.

To address this, I focus on building strong relationships with students, understanding their needs, and creating a positive classroom environment. I also establish clear expectations, provide individualized support, and encourage parental engagement through regular updates and volunteer opportunities. Hi @Hendra ! I saw your post and wanted to share my experience. My school is located in a rural area outside the city, where there's no electricity and poor network signal, making it impossible to access the internet. When I want to show YouTube activities to my students, I have to download them at home first and then show them to my students the next day, which requires adjusting my teaching strategy. Due to this situation, I mostly rely on low-cost or no-cost teaching methods since network signals are unreliable. I'd love to hear about your experiences and strategies for teaching in challenging environments!"
