  • What a fantastic initiative! Yes, I’ve explored audio-based projects as well, last year, I experimented with student-created podcasts through our participation in the national oral reading competition. At first, most of my students were shy and lacked confidence. But with consistent training and encouragement, they became more motivated and enthusiastic. It was amazing to see how their voices grew stronger, not just in articulation, but also in self-expression. By the end, more and more students wanted to join the experience! I’m now considering developing a full podcasting project next year, integrating it more deeply into our curriculum. Audio really opens new doors for reflective and expressive learning.

  • @Mariya What is it? Reflective learning typically involves looking back at something, a past experience or idea and critically analysing the event. By looking at successful and unsuccessful aspects of an experience, reflection will help students learn from their past experiences and turn surface learning into deep learning.

  • @Jenifer Podcasts may be adopted in lieu of written assignments. Students might submit podcasts as responses, reflections, commentaries, peer revisions, etc. Since podcasting might be new to many students, instructors can make podcasting assignments optional or allow alternative forms of submission.

  • @Bushra-Tahir Podcasts can serve various purposes such as entertainment, education, marketing, and community building, appealing to diverse audiences.

  • @HIRAC405752f6f0 its earliest days, it was called audio blogging. People would record their pieces and share the audio content over the internet, like auditory blog posts. In 2004, British broadcaster Ben Hammersley first used the term podcast to describe this new type of content. The term combined the words iPod and broadcast.

  • @HIRAC405752f6f0 podcast is a digital audio file or a series of audio files, often episodic, that can be downloaded or streamed online. They can cover a wide range of topics, from educational discussions and fictional audio dramas to interviews and comedic storytelling.
