  • "Teaching Arabic has become easier and more effective with the use of digital tools and social media. These platforms allow teachers to share engaging content like videos, interactive lessons, and quizzes that attract learners of all ages. Arabic can be learned anywhere and anytime through mobile apps, YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms, making education more accessible and fun."

  • Social media is very powerful platform if we use it positively because it is a source which plays role of global circle. On social media one plus point is every one has access of it's resources like there is no any restriction on the basis of qualification or field or race etc this feature of social media creates a huge difference in learning because everyone can share his/her content according to his/her idea and resources and all the users of worldwide can share their opinion. If that content gets appreciation the owner of that content will get confidence to work on that topic for more enhancement while if someone gets criticism similarly that person will get a chance to improve his/herself so the students who are consuming that content will definitely get idea but can implement in different ways too by just getting guidance from that content.
So we need to set roadmap for our students how they can be beneficiated by using social media

  • Yes, I have initiated educational topics through social media, particularly using WhatsApp groups and Facebook educational pages. I once shared a thought-provoking article and a short video related to environmental sustainability, followed by a discussion question. The response was very encouraging—students actively participated, shared their opinions, and even brought in examples from their local surroundings. Some even created short awareness videos and posters using Canva, which they posted in the group.

The instant feedback, peer engagement, and variety of perspectives made the discussion more meaningful than it might have been in a traditional classroom setting. It also helped students who are usually shy in class to express themselves more confidently. Overall, it was a positive experience that reinforced the value of integrating social media into teaching.

Can we use meta for reasoning questions to elaborate and explain students? Also if someone does so kindly share your experiences.

  • Yes madam, I tried many times to use social media platforms to communicate and assign task to students. I guess I live in an environment that is not supportive to this. Social media platforms if used correctly and positively, can yield good results.
