    • Use of social media can enhance communication skills and increase students engagement

      Social media connects learners to educational content, tutorials, expert opinions, and global discussions instantly

      Students can work together on projects, share ideas, and receive peer feedback using group chats, forums, or shared documents.

      Interactive tools like polls, videos, and live streams make learning more interesting and relatable, especially for digital-native students.
      Have you ever initiated a topic through social media?? How was the response of your students?

    • Inclusive Teaching

      Inclusive practices create a welcoming environment where all students feel valued, leading to higher participation and motivation.
      Teachers who adopt inclusive methods often build stronger, more trusting relationships with their students, improving classroom dynamics. Can anyone share their experience of Inclusive teaching?

      @Hendra My current challenge is to manage student behavior( as new generation is more difficult to handle) academic demands and parental expectations together sometimes it leads to exhaustion. • Gender Discrimination

      Girls in some communities are discouraged from attending school or participating in science, technology, and sports.
      Boys are often pressured to be “tough” and not express emotions, which affects their emotional growth.
      Schools must create inclusive environments that treat all students equally, encourage participation regardless of gender, and challenge stereotypes.

    • Use of smart phones in class

      Should students be allowed to use smart phones in class??
      Smartphones can easily divert students’ attention to games, social media, or messaging instead of the lesson.
      Even when used for educational purposes, notifications can interrupt focus.
      What do you think about it?

      @MARIY0b647d9a23 your idea was very nice of using waste materials..
      There are some ways we can enhance critical thinking in students.

      We can make their thinking more visible by ecouraging students to:

      •Explain their reasoning out loud.

      •Use graphic organizers (e.g., mind maps, flowcharts).

      •Keep a “thinking journal” to reflect on ideas, questions, and solutions.

      @DEXTE176e4f8265 Good question miss.. We can engage passive learners.

      Give students a moment to think alone.
      Then, discuss with a partner before sharing with the group.Builds confidence and prepares them to speak publicly.

      @Mariya
      Reading builds imagination, focus, empathy, and deep thinking—qualities that don’t always come from a quick Google search or a short video. But how do we make space for it in our classrooms and daily lives?

    • RE: Inclusive Teaching

      @BUSHR43f4bb18a0
      Yes of course Bushra..

      In my classroom, inclusion isn’t just a goal—it’s a daily practice. I’ve learned that every child brings something unique to the table, and it’s my job to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

      I started by differentiating my lessons, offering visual aids, hands-on activities, and open discussions so students could learn in ways that work best for them. I also introduced peer buddies, pairing students to support one another, which helped build empathy and teamwork.

      One small change that made a big difference was setting up a quiet corner—a calm space where students could take a break when overwhelmed. It gave anxious or sensitive learners a sense of control and safety.

      I make sure my classroom reflects the diverse cultures and backgrounds of my students. We read stories from different parts of the world, celebrate different traditions, and even learn basic greetings in each other’s languages.

      Most importantly, I’ve made it a habit to connect with each student individually—to know not just how they learn, but who they are. That connection builds trust, and with trust, learning thrives.

      @Mariya
      Beautifully written! Your message is heartfelt, inclusive, and thought-provoking.
      Inclusive education is more than just a teaching approach—it’s a mindset. It’s the belief that every child, regardless of ability, background, or challenge, deserves equal opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. In today’s diverse classrooms, ensuring no child is left behind requires intentional effort, empathy, and collaboration.

      Yes I agree Bushra.. Social media platforms create dynamic and interactive learning environments, connecting students with a vast array of educational resources and diverse global perspectives. They encourage collaboration, real-time communication, and access to expert knowledge beyond the classroom, making learning more engaging and relevant to today’s interconnected world.

      @DEXTE176e4f8265
      Yes I have experienced multisensory by combining audio and video captures attention more effectively than text alone.

      I also used visual elements that help explain complex concepts using graphics, animations, or demonstrations.

      In the same way voicece tone and facial expressions enhance storytelling and relatability.

      What an exciting approach to learning! Daily hands-on activities can indeed have a profound impact on student performance and engagement.
      Like STEM challenges: Designing and building projects that integrate science, technology, engineering, and math concepts.

      By incorporating hands-on activities into daily learning, you can create a more engaging, interactive, and effective learning environment for your students.

      I had the privilege of being part of an inspiring journey when my school received the British Council’s International School Award (ISA) for 2021–2023. This recognition came through our successful collaborations with schools in other countries. Together, we explored global themes like climate change, cultural diversity, innovation, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

      @MARIY0b647d9a23
      How Educators Can Foster Interdisciplinary Learning

      We should design thematic units: Build lessons around big questions or projects (e.g., “How can we build a sustainable city?”), where students explore concepts through science, math, geography, and art.

      We should Collaborate across departments: Team up with other educators to co-plan and co-teach units that blend multiple subjects.
