I create educational videos featuring myself and/or animated characters to use in my lessons. I utilize Canva to create many of the video resources. The students love to see cartoon characters speaking with a local accent or visual storytelling with local accents. It becomes more relatable as opposed to using videos featuring other accents on youtube. How do your students respond to locally created videos whether animation or otherwise?

@LISELLI My students absolutely love locally created videos, especially animations. They seem to resonate more with the content when it's relatable to their own culture and environment. The animations, in particular, are a hit - they help make complex concepts more engaging and easier to understand. I've noticed that the videos spark interesting discussions and debates, and the students are more likely to ask questions and explore topics further.

It's excellent that you're using Canva to create relatable content. This approach not only makes learning more enjoyable but also helps students connect better with the material.kalhorouris

@Mishael-Naqash That's great. It's great to hear the views of educators from other countries. Even though we are from different countries, we share similar experiences.

@LISELLI Absolutely love your approach! π§
Iβve found that students become more curious and involved when they can relate to the content. Locally voiced animations or storytelling make abstract concepts feel more real. It's a great way to build both understanding and cultural pride in the classroom.
