Appreciation Post: Shumaila Owais | Level Up: Hands-On Activities + Technology = Game Time
I just watched the video by Shumaila Owais!! Beautifully blended each topic in gamification. and so amazed how she has so many ideas of converting a difficult topic into a simplified game so that kids can learn easily with fun and board marking was motivating them to do better from the last game.

RE: Preparing Students for the next Decade.
My thinking is a little different: we are focusing on digital skills a lot lately, but I think kids should also be prepared to learn life skills. They must know how they can grow their own food, how they can farm, fish, cook their own food, and light a fire. It's not like I am asking for preparing them for surviving in the wild
, but these are the basic needs that can also be taught to kids for the next decades.

Hi,
I totally agree with you that kids/Students need more of the behavioral and emotional availability!! they do have trust on us to discuss any kind of issues they are facing in school. -

RE: Educational Robotics for Students with Special Educational Needs
I completely agree with you, @Antonia. Educational robotics truly holds promise for making learning more inclusive for students with special educational needs (SEN). It helps them to engage in learning in their style rather that works better than traditional learning method, Technology has definitely helped these students learn and grow, maybe not always in the same way or at the same pace as others, but in a way that suits their individual needs.
we as a facilitator must ensure that these tools are truly inclusive. If tools aren't tailored with accessibility in mind, they might end up excluding the very students they aim to support. It's encouraging to see educators and developers beginning to have serious conversations about this on platforms like the E-TEACH forum. Hopefully, future technologies will be even more adaptable and student-centered.And yes, while technology enables new forms of interaction, especially through digital platforms. We also need to be mindful of balancing that with real-world social experiences. Robots and screens can support learning, but they shouldn’t replace the human connections that are so important for personal and emotional development.

RE: Brain breaks in the classroom
This is so important to keep the students active and energetic, When i Notice students are getting bored or losing focus I play physical game within class with them, Like ups and down, some Exercises and sing a poem with them this makes them fresh instantly, we all laugh and start learning the topic again.
