• Introduction

Hello everyone. My name is Liselli and I'm a secondary school Physics teacher from a beautiful Caribbean island called Trinidad and Tobago. I enjoy integrating technology in my instruction. I also like to design learning resources that can be globally applicable but also tailored to the Caribbean experience. I'm glad to be here and I'm looking forward to learning and sharing my knowledge and experience.

  • As an English teacher with a deep passion for innovation and global education, I’ve always been fascinated by the role of technology in transforming the way we teach and learn. When I discovered the “Teaching in the 21st Century 3.0” competition by UNESCO and NetDragon, I felt immediately drawn to it even though I only had two days to prepare!

For me, this competition is more than just a challenge; it’s a call to action. It represents a shift toward more inclusive, creative, and personalized teaching practices that are desperately needed in today’s classrooms. We live in a world where education must respond to diverse learning needs, digital realities, and rapidly evolving skills. As educators, we can’t afford to stand still.

I joined the challenge because I believe in the power of collaboration and experimentation. I wanted to learn from a global community of educators who are reimagining their classrooms with courage and creativity. I also wanted to push myself - to test how I could use emerging tools like artificial intelligence to better support my students, even on short notice.

Despite the time pressure, I felt energized by the idea of submitting something that reflects both my teaching philosophy and my willingness to grow. This experience reminded me that innovation doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be intentional. I’m excited to share my journey and learn from others who are shaping the future of education, one idea at a time.
