    • Green classroom teaching EdTech solution

      Hi everyone
I'm sanober junior Elementary school teacher ( JEST) from Govt boys high school Sikanderabad kotri jamshoro Pakistan
Today, I am thrilled to discuss the innovative concept of Green Classroom teaching and the transformative role of Educational Technology (EdTech).

In our rapidly evolving world, education must adapt to meet the challenges of the 21st century. The Green Classroom initiative is a step towards creating a sustainable, eco-friendly learning environment. By reducing our reliance on paper and embracing digital tools, we aim to lower our environmental impact while enhancing the learning experience for our students.
Virtual Classrooms Conducting classes online when necessary, which not only supports continuous learning but also reduces the need for physical resources and transportation.
Our commitment to Green Classroom teaching and the strategic use of EdTech aims to create a modern, efficient, and environmentally conscious educational environment. By embracing these innovations, we prepare our students not only for academic success but also for their roles as responsible global citizens.
      Thanks you

    • We aim to use AI tools to create an inviting and innovative classroom environment, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable transition for all students into their new classes.

Aslam o alikum and Hi Everyone
As vacations are ending, how can we use AI tools to help our students transition smoothly into their new classes, making their daily experience enjoyable, energetic, and motivating them to attend school? Additionally, how can we leverage these tools to welcome new students joining kindergarten and those entering the sixth grade at a new school, where they might encounter unfamiliar teachers and environments? Our goal is to make the classroom as inviting and innovative as possible, similar to a fresh start.

    • RE: Traditional VS flipped classroom for adaptive and individualized learning

@Ana_moderator Aslam o alikum mad Hi Ana
Some time when I use flipped class room I observe that in Traditional Classroom the Class time is primarily used for direct instruction and lecturing.while in Flipped Classroom Class time is used for interactive, hands-on activities, discussions, and applying knowledge.
Traditional Classroom Students are passive recipients of information.while in
Flipped Classroom Students engage with content actively before class, allowing for more dynamic and participatory class sessions.
By adopting the flipped classroom approach, educators aim to create a more engaging, personalized, and effective learning environment for students.

    • RE: How to get your learners attention?

@MJANKb9ddefc9b1 I have some solution like
Create groups with a mix of abilities. Pairing less responsive students with more active ones can encourage participation.
Regularly change group compositions to prevent students from becoming too comfortable or isolated.
Assign specific roles within each group (e.g., leader, recorder, presenter). This ensures that every student has a responsibility and a reason to participate.Have them discuss their thoughts with a partner.
their thoughts with a partn. ask pairs to share their discussion points with the larger group. This gradual process can help shy or reluctant students feel more comfortable contributing.

@Engr-Zeeshan Aslam o alikum sir according to my point of view Incorporate multimedia resources like videos, animations, and interactive simulations to make learning more engaging and accessible.Promote peer learning activities where students can work together on projects or study groups, fostering a collaborative learning environment.Integrate gamification elements such as rewards, badges, and leaderboards to motivate students and make learning more enjoyable. By implementing these strategies, ICT tools can be leveraged to provide quality education and support to students who are not initially responsive,

    • RE: Use of smart phones in class

@Ridafatima95 as we are living in a digital age, we are required to use various resources to familiarize our students with 21st-century skills — one of which is the mobile phone.
In government schools across Pakistan, we often lack proper multimedia resources. As a result, teachers sometimes use their own mobile phones as a teaching aid. In my own teaching practice, I have found this to be a practical solution. However; I firmly believe that students should not be allowed to bring their personal mobile phones to school.
Instead, we should adopt a controlled approach: teachers can use their own phones during specific learning activities to introduce students to new tools and technologies. This prevents students from getting habitual or distracted by their personal devices. When students bring mobile phones from home, there is a high chance they will use them not just for learning, but also for playing games, sending messages, and accessing unrelated content — ultimately leading to distractions.
Since we currently lack proper digital resources in many government schools, I see no harm in utilizing teachers’ mobile phones during specific activities, provided it is done with clear focus and educational purpose.

    • RE: AI & Ethics

@Adel-8d693e36c4 Aslam o Alikum sir Adel
You've raised an excellent question that indeed requires serious reflection: Is AI diminishing our manpower and creativity? according to my perspective
In Pakistan, while AI tools have become increasingly prevalent in various sectors, including government, and students are adept at utilizing them, there is a significant concern that I’ve observed through personal experience. The reliance on these technologies is gradually eroding students' creative writing skills, critical thinking, and their natural ability to solve problems independently. Instead of engaging in self-learning and personal assessment, many students now use AI tools to quickly find answers, which diminishes their creativity and intellectual growth. Furthermore, there is a noticeable decline in handwriting skills, as students increasingly rely on digital platforms. While AI undoubtedly offers convenience and vast opportunities, it also poses a risk to essential aspects of learning, such as creativity, active engagement, and the development of foundational skills like handwriting. This highlights the urgent need for a balanced approach in integrating technology into education to ensure that it enhances rather than hinders students' overall development.
