      @Tabbasum

      Tabbasum flipped classroom project on buffer solutions is a brilliant way to make chemistry engaging!

      She used role plays, real-life examples, and reflections to turn an abstract concept into something relatable and fun.

      I noticed how her students have fun learning through role-playing and real life reflection and this helping them grasp buffers in a memorable and joyful way.

      I think It’s student-centered, creative, and effective for fostering a deeper love for science.

      @ateeque-soomro

      Mr. Ateeque Soomro's project "Numbers at Work: Life Lessons Through Math" brings numbers to life in an engaging way.
      He brought students to math by addressing real-world challenges in an engaging, multi-tiered classroom.
      I strongly suggest starting with an animated video at home to introduce fundamental math concepts, equipping students to use their skills in practical, group activities in class.
      --->This creative method not only improves mathematical comprehension but also fosters important social and emotional abilities. They foster leadership, communication, and compassion

    • Programming an EMOS to teach English to primary students in a fun, interactive way

      An EMOS car robot:
      can be innovatively programmed to educate primary students in English by integrating movement, emotions, and engaging language activities.

      To develop an emotional vocabulary, educators can program the car to show various emoji expressions (e.g., happy, sad, surprised) and pose questions to students such as "What is the robot's emotion?".

      The car can be transformed into a storytelling device by setting it to halt at various spots (such as a "forest" or "castle" created from classroom items) and encouraging students to recount sections of a story in English.

      Obstacle courses can emphasize prepositions ("Drive beneath the bridge!") or antonyms ("Turn left if ‘large’ is the answer!").

      For responses, the vehicle can celebrate with lights and sounds for right answers or motivate retries for errors.

      A basic toy car paired with emotion cards can create comparable engagement, even in the absence of sophisticated technology.

      -->This method transforms English learning into an engaging, interactive, and enjoyable experience, assisting young learners in associating words with emotions and actions.
      Did you use those funny cars in your classroom?

      @Oojala-Tasneem

      Among online collaborative projects I was truly impressed by Oojala Tasneem's project "Cross-Cultural Exchange Session between Pakistani and Japanese Students" for many reasons:

      • Firstly this cross-cultural Zoom exchange between Pakistani and Japanese students exemplifies a creative and significant educational project that successfully spans geographical and cultural gaps.

      • Secondly, I believe this endeavor promotes substantial intercultural comprehension in a world that is becoming more globalized.

      • In addition to that, utilizing Zoom's interactive tools converts what might be a passive cultural showcase into an engaging, student-focused dialogue that encourages active listening and shared learning.

      • Moreover the project's emphasis on conversation instead of lectures guarantees that participants enhance their abilities such as cross-cultural communication, empathy, and teamwork in problem-solving, despite numerous obstacles like language differences and scheduling conflicts.

      ----> I believe the true value of this initiative lies in its capacity to transcend theoretical multicultural education, fostering genuine human connections where students not only study another culture but also develop personal relationships with their international counterparts.

      So she got my vote

      @Bakht54a5e4eb47
      Among the flipped classroom projects, I found Bakhtawar's "Computer Science (Android Development)" project particularly enjoyable.

      She leveraged Google Classroom, a fantastic resource for executing the flipped classroom approach, particularly in the context of app development. She provided students with links and videos related to app development.

      Throughout the class, she detailed the app development process in a step-by-step manner and assisted the students as they utilized their prior knowledge to independently create functional apps.
      Andi this approach allows students to learn more quickly, participate in hands-on programming, and get instant feedback, helping them rapidly create real-world applications that improve their comprehension.
      The initiative is innovative, creative, emphasizing the scientific, practical, and socio-emotional dimensions of the learner.
      I appreciate her efforts, and she got my vote.

      The comfort zone is the place where development halts and possibilities remain untapped.

      To assist students in leaving their comfort zones and promoting growth, it’s important to:
      ****Examine their beliefs, fears, and aspirations.
      ****Inspire critical thinking.
      ****Attempt to grasp their fears and work on boosting creativity and aspirations

    • RE: Creativity in the Classroom: How Are You Cultivating Young Innovators? Post:

      Hello;
      You are entirely correct; students have various learning styles, and a universal method frequently causes some to struggle while others lose interest.
      As teachers, we need to recognize and address these differences to enhance learning.
      Drawing from my experience, at the start of the academic year, I aim to recognize Learning Styles in my Classroom to evaluate the ways my students learn most effectively.
      I provide them with a questionnaire; for instance, I attempt to incorporate visual, auditory, and kinesthetic activities. after that, I categorize them.
      After learning my students' preferences, I make an effort to adapt my teaching techniques to suit their learning styles.

    • RE: Autocorrect tool is Harmful

      Excessive dependence on autocorrect AI tools can harm the essential emotional bond between educators and learners.
      Firstly, when technology continuously fixes mistakes, students lose chances to learn from errors.
      Secondly, This reliance establishes a concerning situation: educators observe refined, AI produced assignments rather than genuine student effort, rendering their feedback seem removed from reality. And here Students might start to question their own skills, thinking they require technology to achieve success, which erodes their confidence in themselves and in their teacher's guidance.
      So, the connection in the classroom may turn transactional.
      To maintain the personal aspect of education, educators need to purposefully establish tech-free environments where learners can build trust in their independent skills, while still receiving assistance from technology in suitable situations.

    • RE: Education and AI

      ***Hello everyone;

      Based on my experience teaching English as a foreign language to 11-year-old primary school students, I believe that AI has the potential to enhance the learning process by making it more engaging, personalized, and effective for young learners, provided we select an AI tool that is suitable for their age and educationally sound.

      I utilized AI tools such as applications, games, quizzes, and rewards to make learning vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation enjoyable. I employed AI to change images in videos and to produce educational cartoons using platforms like Runway and Canva, allowing my students to film themselves and incorporate text in those videos with tools like FlexClip. Additionally, I used AI sound tools to create audio, particularly for teaching pronunciation, employing TTSMaker to generate native speaker sounds. I also incorporated other AI tools to design avatars and generate personalized presentations for English lessons, enabling us to upload student selfies and the AI make them "speak" English with accurate pronunciation.

      So according to my experience, those AI tools enhance the enjoyment and interactivity of learning. my students tackle the "pronunciation difficulties as non-native speakers" issue. moreover, AI customizes itself to fit each student's level, speed, and preferred learning style.

      Looking forward to hearing about your experiences***
