"Digital Natives: The 21st-Century Generation 🌟"
Let´s have a discussion on the digital world. Who are the people of 21st century. What are their rotine works. Are we who grown in 20th century, part of 21st century. I jsut summarize these things for our better understanding.
The 21st-century generation, often called "digital natives," has grown up surrounded by technology, including smartphones, the internet, and social media. This constant exposure has shaped how they communicate, preferring quick and digital methods like texting and social media over traditional forms of interaction.
They are highly aware of global issues and cultures, thanks to easy access to information online. This awareness fuels their commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and social justice. They advocate for equal rights and opportunities for all people.
Environmental concerns are also significant to this generation. They support eco-friendly practices and are conscious of the impact their actions have on the planet.
Adaptability is a key factor, as they are quick to learn and adjust to new technologies and changes in the world. This ability helps them navigate the fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape of the 21st century.
YES, WE ARE ´´DIGITAL NATIVES``

RE: Pre-screen Concludes for Teacher Competition: 46 Outstanding Entries Advance to Peer Evaluation"
@Fish-Fisher @chanellelaw @Shazia-Baloch @Adel-8d693e36c4 @Uzma-qamar @admin
Dear E-Teach Forum Members,
I would like to express my concerns regarding the selection process for the "Teaching in the 21st Century 2.0" competition. Many participants, including myself, are disappointed by the decision to advance only 46 projects to the Peer Evaluation stage out of the 235 submissions received.
The competition promised a broad and inclusive platform for sharing innovative teaching practices and ideas. However, the criteria for selecting the projects that would advance to peer review were not clearly communicated. This lack of transparency has led to confusion and dissatisfaction among many participants who feel their work did not receive a fair chance to be evaluated.
I believe that all projects should have been given an opportunity to be considered in the next stage, or at least, the criteria for selection should have been more explicitly defined. This would have ensured a fairer and more transparent process, aligning with the competition’s goal of fostering global educational exchange.
I hope the organizers will consider these points for future competitions to enhance transparency and inclusivity.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Best regards,

RE: FORUM RULES AND GUIDELINES!!!
@Ana_moderator, @chanellelaw, @admin
Hello to the esteemed managers and education promoters,
I believe in the Oneness of Almighty Allah and that Muhammad (Salallaho Alaihe Wa Sallam) is the last prophet.
I'd like to share a few thoughts regarding the rules and regulations of the forum:
- When a user posts a new topic, it first comes to your screens for approval.
- After your approval, you send a notification to the post creator, allowing the topic to be viewed by any forum member.
- If any member upvotes the post, you give a reward mark/star to the user as acknowledgment. (I’m very happy with this marking system, as it encourages us to post more topics for more rewards!)
- If any member downvotes the post, you give a negative mark/star, indicating a controversial post. However, if another member upvotes the same post, it remains neutral. ️
This system is a fantastic and creative idea, and I am delighted with it.
However, I have a question: why do negative marks appear on a post if no member has downvoted it? I hope you can clarify this so that members better understand the rules for posting topics.
Sincerely,
-

RE: Why a teacher should not use mobile phone in a class?
@RAHEELSAHITO Aslam o Alaikum dear,
The perspective presented is valid, especially considering traditional classroom settings where mobile phones can be a distraction. However, in the 21st century, where technology plays a significant role, there are few aspects to consider like Educational Apps and Resources, Instant Communication, and Digital Learning. Keeping in view the challenges like Distraction, Professionalism and Modeling Behavior, and Equity and Safety, we can balance use of it by Controlled Integration, and Professional Guidelines.
In summary, while the concerns are valid, incorporating technology like mobile phones in education can be beneficial if managed effectively and responsibly.

@FarhanMehb**b said in "The Role of Technology in Modern Elementary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education: Benefits, Challenges, and Best Practices.":
Can you please enlight about the remote areas Schools and role of technology there...
@FarhanMehb**b Dear brother Farhan,
It's wonderful to hear from you! Technology can play a big role in improving education in remote areas (rural areas) of Pakistan. It provides access to many educational resources online, like e-books, videos on youtube or any other source, and interactive learning materials. Teachers can benefit from online trainings, improving their skills and teaching methods, while students can enjoy engaging and interactive learning through educational apps and virtual classes. This helps bridge the gap between urban and rural education, ensuring quality learning for everyone.
However, challenges like reliable internet connectivity and access to devices need to be addressed. Partnering with NGOs, government initiatives, and private sectors can help overcome these barriers. Let's keep pushing for better education for all, no matter where they are.
Sending you lots of love and hugs! -

The Role of Happiness in Education: Why Joy Matters for Teachers and Students
Aslam o Alaikum dear e teach forum members,
Let´s discuss the significance of happiness in education. How does emotional well-being impact learning outcomes? What strategies can schools implement to foster a joyful learning environment?I´ll start first...
I think in school, we often focus on grades, discipline, and hard work. But there’s something important that we sometimes forget: happiness. Happiness plays a big role in education, not just for students, but for teachers too.
I think when students are happy, they pay more attention, stay motivated, and are open to learning new things. A joyful classroom makes students more eager to join in and try new things, which helps them understand and remember what they learn better.
I think teachers happiness is also important. A happy teacher brings excitement, creativity, and energy into the classroom. This positive atmosphere spreads to the students and can make the classroom more lively and fun. When teachers enjoy their work, it shows in how they teach, leading to better learning for the students.
I think creating a happy classroom means understanding what both students and teachers need. For students, this might mean using fun activities, building a supportive community, or just making sure they feel important and listened to. And for teachers, it could mean giving them chances to grow in their jobs, recognizing their hard work, or creating a friendly and supportive work environment.
Research shows that happiness is linked to better school results. When students feel good, their thinking improves, and they become better at solving problems and being creative. Similarly, happy teachers are better at their jobs, which leads to better teaching.
I think bringing happiness into education isn’t just something extra; it’s something we really need. When both teachers and students are happy, everyone’s experience in school gets better. By making happiness a priority, we can create a classroom that is more effective, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone.
Please share your ideas in this perspective ...

RE: Traditional VS flipped classroom for adaptive and individualized learning
@Ana_moderator, @ASGHAd210770cb3, @Bousl2336873cb4, @MYLOG47799627c6, @Yousuf-Memon
Aslam o alaikum and hello every one,In my perspective flipped class room has more grip in learning of student, although traditonal classroom have also its impacts of learning. Let me make it more clear.
As we all know that in a traditional classroom, the teacher primarily delivers lectures during class time, with students absorbing information and then completing assignments or studying at home. This approach is familiar and straightforward, making it easier to manage in settings with limited resources, such as in many schools including Pakistan. However, it often provides limited opportunities for individualized attention and adaptive learning, as the pace is usually set by the teacher and must accomodate to the average student.
Now in flipped classroom the same module disscussed above is inverted, although I am not experienced in this module but seen videos in pandemic days. In this module Student has to learn from videos made by teacher, which student can play, pause, or review or replay again. It means here the pace has to set by a student. Every individual student has to decide at his own in context of learning. This is called adaptive and individualised learning.
Actually If we are interested in adaptive and individualised learning then our approach must be towrds flipped classroom. ** Also mind that a student must have access to all educational material needed for flipped classroom, and he/she must have a good understanding of using that material.** Un fortunately in Pakistan average students have these kinds of commands.
