Testing yourself is an effective way to reinforce learning and identify areas for improvement. Here are some ways to test yourself:
-
Quizzes: Create quizzes for yourself or use online resources like Quizlet or Kahoot.
-
Flashcards: Make physical flashcards or use apps like Anki to test your recall.
-
Practice problems: Use practice problems or past exams to test your understanding.
-
Summarize and explain: Summarize key concepts in your own words and explain them to someone else.
-
Self-assessment rubrics: Create rubrics to evaluate your own work and progress.
-
Reflective journaling: Write down what you've learned, what worked well, and what didn't.
-
Mistake analysis: Analyze your mistakes to identify areas for improvement.
-
Peer testing: Test each other with a study group or partner.
-
Timed tests: Take timed tests to simulate real-world scenarios.
-
Review and adjust: Regularly review your progress and adjust your study plan as needed.
Remember, testing yourself helps solidify information in your long-term memory and builds confidence in your abilities.

@ASGHAd210770cb3 The core concept of this topic can be conclude that, Self-testing is the process of trying to recall what you have learned or studied without looking back at the material. Self-testing is similar to practice testing and practice quizzes. All of these activities involve “retrieval practice,” trying to recall or retrieve information from memory.

Seating arrangement role in class room
Hello friends!!
As other tools of class room management change in the seating arrangement play an essential role in the class descipline. As we all know that now a days U shape, half circle and Round shaped seating is effective for focusing students and for better eye contact.
One activity for arranging the students is selecting bottle caps of one's choice like Pepsi, 7Up,Dew, Mirinda or Sting etc students will be separated by their selected bottle caps and sometimes alphabet dates of birth or giving different group names like Brilliant group Awesome.group or energetic.group.etc.Through this.we.can.manage.our class.properly and.can.award.on.different.assignments by exposing the group.names and can.give appreciation to.the students. Thus through.change.of the seats all.students can interact oneanother and mingle up eachother. -
@AFSHA28f0a2936e My pleasure Miss .
-
@MUHAM0c0c5f87f6 Indeed sir. Classroom seating arrangements play an important role in student learning, engagement levels, and the overall success of the class. Seating can influence how comfortable students feel participating in activities as well as how much they focus on their work.

In teaching, the Gibbs Reflective Cycle can be used to enhance instructional practices and professional development. Here’s how it can be applied:
-
Description: Reflect on a specific teaching experience, such as a lesson or classroom interaction. Describe what happened, including key events and your role.
-
Feelings: Consider your emotional response to the experience. Reflect on how you felt about the lesson, student interactions, and any challenges faced.
-
Evaluation: Assess what went well and what didn’t. Analyze the effectiveness of your teaching methods, classroom management, and student engagement.
-
Analysis: Explore why certain aspects were successful or problematic. Identify factors that contributed to the outcomes, such as teaching strategies or student needs.
-
Conclusion: Summarize the key takeaways from the experience. Determine what you learned about your teaching practice and how it affects student learning.
-
Action Plan: Develop a plan for improving future lessons. Consider adjustments to your teaching methods, classroom environment, or student interactions based on your reflections.
Using the Gibbs Cycle helps teachers continuously improve by critically evaluating their practices and making informed adjustments

@Ana_moderator
Hi dear Ana and all teachers,We all are teachers and we know the methods and approaches of teaching used in our classroom, and im sure a teacher always uses different methods and approaches in teaching process. Every class and their students are always different to other so teacher always be flexible to change their strategies accordingly. The basic approach of a teaching process should be a student centered approach.
-
Constructive approach like Hands-on activities,
-
Inquiry-Based Learning such as Research projects, science experiments.
.3. Project-Based Learning (PBL)Description: Students work on Group projects, community service projects.
-
Problem-Based Learning (PBL) like Students learn by solving real-world problems
-
Collaborative Learning:- Students work together in groups to achieve learning goals through Group discussions, peer teaching.
-
Flipped Classroom:- Students first engage with new material outside of class and use class time for interactive discussions
-
Differentiated Instruction: - Instruction is adapted to meet the diverse needs of individual students Through Flexible grouping, individualized assignments.
.8 Socratic Method:- Using questions and dialogue to stimulate critical thinking and illuminate ideas..
These are some approaches and I always belive when we prioritise our students the outcome would be gigantic. Students listen to their Teacher with care just strategy application should be right as required on that time.
