• Farming in School: Growing Minds While Growing Plants 🌽📚

What if the best classroom had no walls ,just soil, seeds, and sunlight?
School farming teaches students more than how to grow food.
It teaches patience, responsibility, teamwork, and respect for nature. 🌿👩‍🌾

Children learn where their food comes from, how to care for the Earth, and how to work together ,with their hands and their hearts.
It’s science, health, and life skills… all in one garden bed. 🌎❤

In a fast-paced world, farming reminds us to slow down and connect with something real.

For me every year I enjoy the ecology unit because it allows us to go out of routine and build connection with nature...our school garden becomes full of life and joy.♥

👉 Does your school have a garden? Would you start one?

  • @Nawres-Alabed Students learn about healthy eating habits, where food comes from, and the importance of fresh, local produce.

  • @Nawres-Alabed Gardening can boost confidence, patience, and teamwork skills while providing a relaxing and stress-relieving environment.

That’s beautifully said! A school garden truly brings learning to life. It’s a space where students connect with nature, develop essential life skills, and experience the joy of growing something with their own hands. Yes, our school has a small garden, and it's always a source of excitement and learning. If it didn’t, I would definitely advocate for starting one—it’s a simple but powerful way to teach responsibility, sustainability, and care.

    Good concept and activity.
There is no garden in my school, my school is effected by flood and repaired recently.
Now a days there is summer vacations, hope when school will open, I am planning to grow plants in pots. I hope my students will enjoy it, and it will make my school beautiful and green. Students will learn a lot from this activity.
