School farming teaches students more than how to grow food.<br />
It teaches patience, responsibility, teamwork, and respect for nature. <img src="https://elibrary-forum.sdpsg.101.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f33f.png?v=c3p0q0bak8e" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--herb" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":herb:" alt="🌿" /><img src="https://elibrary-forum.sdpsg.101.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f469-200d-1f33e.png?v=c3p0q0bak8e" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--female-farmer" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":female-farmer:" alt="👩‍🌾" /></p>
<p dir="auto">Children learn where their food comes from, how to care for the Earth, and how to work together ,with their hands and their hearts.<br />
It’s science, health, and life skills… all in one garden bed. <img src="https://elibrary-forum.sdpsg.101.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f30e.png?v=c3p0q0bak8e" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--earth_americas" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":earth_americas:" alt="🌎" /><img src="https://elibrary-forum.sdpsg.101.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/2764.png?v=c3p0q0bak8e" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--heart" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title="" alt="❤" />️</p>
<p dir="auto">In a fast-paced world, farming reminds us to slow down and connect with something real.</p>
<p dir="auto">For me every year I enjoy the ecology unit because it allows us to go out of routine and build connection with nature...our school garden becomes full of life and joy.<img src="https://elibrary-forum.sdpsg.101.com/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/2665.png?v=c3p0q0bak8e" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--hearts" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":hearts:" alt="♥" />️</p>

Good concept and activity.<br />
There is no garden in my school, my school is effected by flood and repaired recently.<br />
Now a days there is summer vacations, hope when school will open, I am planning to grow plants in pots. I hope my students will enjoy it, and it will make my school beautiful and green. Students will learn a lot from this activity.</p>

That’s beautifully said! A school garden truly brings learning to life. It’s a space where students connect with nature, develop essential life skills, and experience the joy of growing something with their own hands. Yes, our school has a small garden, and it's always a source of excitement and learning. If it didn’t, I would definitely advocate for starting one—it’s a simple but powerful way to teach responsibility, sustainability, and care.</p>
