What if the best classroom had no walls ,just soil, seeds, and sunlight?
School farming teaches students more than how to grow food.
It teaches patience, responsibility, teamwork, and respect for nature.
Children learn where their food comes from, how to care for the Earth, and how to work together ,with their hands and their hearts.
Itβs science, health, and life skillsβ¦ all in one garden bed. οΈ
In a fast-paced world, farming reminds us to slow down and connect with something real.
For me every year I enjoy the ecology unit because it allows us to go out of routine and build connection with nature...our school garden becomes full of life and joy.οΈ
