• Need to Save Time: AI Tools for Correcting Student Writing?

    Hi everyone,
    I hope you're doing well!
I wanted to ask if anyone is using AI tools to evaluate students’ writing or open-ended answers? I have more than 30 students, and I usually need to do corrections and consolidation the next day.
Is there a way to save time while still giving useful feedback?
Any tools or tips would be really appreciated!

    Thanks in advance 😊

  • @Nawres-Alabed By inputting specific criteria—such as subject, learning objectives, engagement strategies, age-appropriateness, lesson duration, and pacing—into a generative AI platform, teachers can receive customized lesson plans.

  • Yes that's true I do that sometimes📚 and it saves me lot of time 💻
Also helps to design activities appropriate to every group potential and errors to consolidate

AI can generate custom learning materials, such as quizzes, flashcards, and even entire lessons tailored to a student's strengths and weaknesses. This personalization ensures that students focus on the topics they need the most help with, maximizing their learning efficiency.

  • @Nawres-Alabed One of the most direct ways AI supports time management is by acting as a digital assistant. AI-powered tools like Google Assistant, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Notion AI help users manage tasks, set reminders, draft messages, summarise notes, and even schedule meetings

  • @Nawres-Alabed More than a grammar check, myEssai is an AI essay writing tool that gives you actionable feedback just like a teacher would. This tool can review essays, resumes, job descriptions, creative writing assignments, notes for a speech, or any other written piece. myEssai does not create new content.

Hi! 👋 You're definitely not alone — evaluating writing for a large class can be very time-consuming. Fortunately, there are some great AI tools that can help speed up the process without sacrificing quality feedback. Tools like Grammarly, QuillBot, Scribbr, and even ChatGPT can be used to analyze grammar, structure, and clarity in student writing. For more detailed feedback, you can paste answers into ChatGPT and ask for suggestions or a rubric-based evaluation.

If you're using Google Classroom, Google Docs with AI-powered add-ons like “MagicSchool AI” or “EssayGrader” can help streamline feedback too. The key is to use AI for initial analysis and then personalize feedback where needed — that way you save time and still stay connected to your students' progress.

Hope this helps! 😊 Would love to hear what tools others are using too!

Absolutely! 🎯 One of the most exciting benefits of generative AI in education is its ability to create tailored lesson plans based on the teacher’s exact needs. By simply entering key details like the subject, objectives, student age, and engagement strategies, teachers can get well-structured, age-appropriate plans in minutes. This not only saves valuable prep time but also supports more personalized and effective teaching. Of course, the teacher’s role remains essential in reviewing, adapting, and delivering the content with creativity and care!

That's great to hear! 🙌 It’s amazing how AI can help lighten the workload while still allowing us to focus on what really matters — understanding our students and meeting their needs. Designing activities based on each group’s potential and using their common errors for consolidation is such a smart approach! It’s a perfect example of how technology and thoughtful teaching can go hand in hand. Keep it up! 👏📚

Absolutely! 🎯 One of the biggest advantages of AI in education is this level of personalization. Generating quizzes, flashcards, and lessons tailored to each student’s needs not only saves time but also makes learning more targeted and effective. It helps students stay engaged, feel more confident, and make faster progress by focusing on their specific gaps. When used wisely, AI becomes a powerful partner in creating meaningful and impactful learning experiences.

Absolutely right! AI-powered digital assistants are game-changers when it comes to managing time efficiently. Tools like Google Assistant, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Notion AI take over routine tasks — from setting reminders and drafting emails to summarizing meeting notes and organizing your schedule. This allows teachers (and students!) to focus more on meaningful work instead of getting lost in admin tasks. It’s like having a smart personal assistant at your fingertips!

That's really impressive! ✨ myEssai sounds like a valuable tool for both students and professionals who want to improve their writing without relying on content generation. The fact that it gives feedback like a teacher — focusing on clarity, structure, and coherence — makes it a great companion for developing strong writing skills. Tools like this not only support independent learning but also encourage students to reflect and revise thoughtfully. Definitely worth exploring! 📝💡
