• PROVISION OF NEW TECHNOLOGY IN GOVT SCHOOLS

"Due to the unavailability of digital devices such as mobile phones and laptops in many government schools, teachers do their best to manage and complete tasks. However, the lack of these resources often hinders the effective achievement of Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs)."

  • @BEGUM0167087d15 , yes there are areas where no network is found. In such scenario we should have contingency plan. We need to adopt such practices that can help us in our teaching learning

  • That's a very important point. While digital tools have greatly enhanced teaching and learning in many settings, the lack of access to devices in many government schools remains a significant barrier. Teachers in these environments show incredible dedication and creativity in trying to meet Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs), often relying on traditional methods and limited resources. However, without equitable access to technology, students may miss out on interactive and personalized learning opportunities. Bridging this digital divide is essential to ensure that all learners, regardless of their background, have the tools they need to succeed in today’s educational landscape.

  • @Imamuddin-Khaskh Equip schools with technology-based pedagogy, including smart screens, computers, clickers, and speakers.

  • @Sanam Implement Google Workspace for Education, creating a digital infrastructure in schools and utilizing Google tools for distance learning.

  • @Imamuddin-Khaskh till now its only in teachers hand they Re using and educating students from their personal gadgets

  • @Sanam provision is mandatory from govt

  • @Shaista-Begum The lack of digital devices in many government schools limits access to modern teaching tools, making it challenging for teachers to effectively achieve Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs), despite their best efforts.

  • @Shaista-Begum
As a teacher, I'd suggest that government schools prioritize acquiring digital devices like mobile phones and laptops or explore alternative solutions like tablets or educational apps on existing devices. Additionally, we could leverage community resources, such as partnering with local organizations or businesses to access technology. We could also consider blended learning approaches, utilizing low-tech solutions like printed materials, radio, or TV-based educational programs to supplement teaching. Furthermore, teacher training programs could focus on optimizing teaching methods with limited resources, ensuring we make the most of what we have while advocating for increased technological support to enhance student learning outcomes.
