I love learning new approaches which can advance my career journey. Of course sharing is a must upon my return if i'm selected for the study tour. It would be great sharing new experience and knowledge with my colleagues, where they also can apply the same thing that I learnt to our students.

Hi, I completely agree that technology has provided children with new ways to interact and express themselves. The confidence they gain from these interactions can be incredibly beneficial for their social development. For me, I personally would go for Mobile Technology, given the widespread use of smartphones, educational apps and mobile-friendly websites can be a cost-effective way to provide learning opportunities.

My favourite tool would be using games to greening Edtech in classrooms. My students enjoys playing games the most in every lessons we did. So, I would go for a method to gamify the solutions.

To address the emotional challenges, we can implement low-cost ICT tools like refurbished devices, open-source educational software, and community-based tech programs. These solutions can ensure all children have access to essential technology, fostering an inclusive environment. In a few days, I will be assessed by a representative from the Ministry of Education for the "Excellent Teacher's Programme." During this assessment, I will need to teach my students in front of the representative and give a presentation about my best teaching practices.

Hello everyone,

Let's discuss how we can effectively integrate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into our classroom activities and curriculum. The 17 SDGs are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. As educators, we have a unique opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation about these critical global goals.

Like for me, I always introduced my students to SDG's through collaborative project. We will find a problem, and suggest solutions that relate to any of 17 SDG's, from there my students will create a solution by referring to that SDG's. This includes to the innovation project that we did recently, where my students suggest SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing as chosen SDG's to combat mental health in my school. So, what they did was they created a campaign called "A candy for a smile" to give awareness to their friends about mental health awareness.

How did you guys introduced SDG's to your students? And how does it works?

@Housna Yes, as for now, we have implemented the app to almost 80% of the students in my school, and the impact shown was very positive.

My students could not bring any gadgets to school, instead it's school initiative to provide tablets at school, for the implementation of the app from class to class. The students share the tablet in a group of 4-5 students and use the app with teacher's guidance.

I've found success using SDG's by incorporating project-based learning, where students can work on community projects aligned with specific SDGs. Also, inviting guest speakers working in sustainability can provide practical insights and inspiration to my students at school.

Just sharing about today's award event that I attended. Our school was selected as the first prize winner for The Healthiest Schools Programme. Our initiative involved introducing a mobile app to each class to guide and raise awareness among students about mental health issues. The app offers different features like games, surveys, stress measurement, a chatroom, and a school health campaign. As a result, this mobile app successfully raised awareness among my school’s students about the importance of taking care of mental health.

As for now, the app is only used for internally between my school and few schools in my district. We plan to publish this app in the future in app store. We hope to share more awareness about mental health with other states in Malaysia and other countries in the future as well.
