• Student Centered With Technology

    Hi Teachers,

In a few days, I will be assessed by a representative from the Ministry of Education for the "Excellent Teacher's Programme." During this assessment, I will need to teach my students in front of the representative and give a presentation about my best teaching practices.

I currently use tools like Quizizz, Wordwall, ChatGPT, and Google Classroom to make my classroom more student-centered. Can you suggest any additional online tools that could further enhance my teaching and engage my students?

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hello Sahar
Student-centered learning enhanced by technology offers significant advantages such as personalized learning experiences tailored to individual needs, fostering greater engagement and understanding. It promotes collaboration among students through digital tools, expanding communication skills and exposing learners to diverse perspectives globally. Access to a vast array of online resources enriches educational content beyond traditional materials, while immediate feedback and assessment tools enable students to track progress and make improvements in real-time. However, challenges include disparities in access to technology, potential distractions, and the need to critically evaluate online information. Balancing digital tools with traditional methods is essential to ensure comprehensive skill development and effective learning outcomes.

  • Hello Denis
For me, my students especially prefer ChatGPT because in Tunisia our teaching language is French, moreover the majority of open sources are written in English; that's why ChatGPT is an open source tool that can solve the problem of translation and search at the same time...
