    • Exploring Nature as a Classroom, Your Favorite Outdoor Green Lessons?

      Hi everyone!
I’m looking to expand my use of outdoor learning to teach environmental topics in a more hands-on and engaging way. I’d love to hear how others are using the outdoors to bring green education to life!
Have you used your school grounds, nearby parks, or even just a courtyard to teach about ecosystems, climate change, or conservation?
Whether it’s a simple soil experiment, a garden project, or a nature journaling activity, I’d love to collect ideas from fellow educators.

Looking forward to learning from you all.

    • Empowering Classroom Participation.

      Hey All,
Classroom jobs have been a huge help in managing routines.
This year I assigned classroom jobs (like tech helper, supply manager, clean-up lead), and it’s been a game-changer for classroom management.
The students feel ownership, and I spend less time managing minor routines.
But now I’m curious, do classroom jobs really work at every grade level?
Any tips for keeping it more organized week-to-week?

    • Plantation Drive with My Students – Teaching Green in Action!

Today, I had the privilege of leading a meaningful plantation drive with my enthusiastic students at school. Together, we planted trees not just in soil, but in the hearts of young learners ,nurturing values of responsibility, care, and environmental awareness.
This hands-on activity was part of our Teaching Green initiative, helping students understand the vital role trees play in combating climate change and protecting our planet.
Moments like these go beyond textbooks they sow the seeds of a greener, more conscious future. Grateful to witness such energy and commitment from our future leaders.!Before Plantation.jpeg My Students planting trees.jpeg After Plantation showing some progress.jpeg My Participation as a demonstrator and facilitator.jpeg

    • 🎙 Forgotten in Class, Found on Screen 💻✨

I’m thrilled to share my first-ever podcast interview experience, where I highlighted how social media can be a powerful tool to promote girls’ education, supporting SDG Goal 4 Quality Education.
In many parts of the world, girls are still forgotten in class but through digital platforms, we’re ensuring they are found on screen learning, growing, and raising their voices.
I’m especially proud that my students are actively creating video presentations and publishing them on my YouTube channel, turning their learning into inspiring digital stories.
I’m also excited to be a part of the UNESCO 3.0 Teachers Competition, a platform that celebrates innovative teaching approaches and global learning connections.
Together, we are reimagining education — one screen, one voice, one idea at a time. ✨

    • RE: Creating your own educational videos

@LISELLI My students absolutely love locally created videos, especially animations. They seem to resonate more with the content when it's relatable to their own culture and environment. The animations, in particular, are a hit - they help make complex concepts more engaging and easier to understand. I've noticed that the videos spark interesting discussions and debates, and the students are more likely to ask questions and explore topics further.

    • RE: Educational Robotics for Students with Special Educational Needs

@Antonia Robotics integration can create inclusive learning environments by providing hands-on experiences and fostering problem-solving skills. However, it may also pose barriers for students struggling with technology. To address this, educators can offer support, modifications, and accessible design. By doing so, they can harness robotics' benefits while promoting inclusivity.

What a wonderful and inspiring initiative! Introducing students to various ways of representing reality in art from realistic to imaginative using digital tools like smartphones and free editing apps is a brilliant way to blend creativity with technology. This approach not only enhances artistic expression but also equips students with modern digital skills. Well done Dear 💕

    • Teaching Green, Growing Together :

As educators, we don't just teach lessons , we nurture values. This week, our classroom extended beyond walls as we took learning into nature with a plantation drive.

My students and I got our hands dirty planting saplings, learning about sustainability, and discussing how small actions lead to a greener future. Watching them connect with the earth and take ownership of their plants was truly inspiring.

Let’s keep growing minds and trees, because teaching green means shaping a better tomorrow.
