    • RE: Bullying in educational establishments

Bullying can have profound impacts on a child's social and emotional development, affecting various aspects of their interpersonal skills and social interactions. Here are some key ways bullying influences a child's social development:

      1.Trust Issues

      • Victims of bullying often develop mistrust towards their peers and adults, making it difficult to form healthy, trusting relationships in the future.
      1. Social Isolation

        • Bullying can lead to social withdrawal and isolation as victims may avoid social interactions to escape further bullying. This isolation can impede the development of social skills and friendships.
      2. Difficulty in Forming Relationships

        • Children who are bullied may struggle with forming and maintaining friendships. They might find it hard to approach others, fearing rejection or further bullying.
      3. Aggressive or Withdrawn Behavior

        • Victims may become overly aggressive or defensive in social situations, mirroring the aggression they experienced, or they might become excessively shy and withdrawn.
      4. Impaired Social Skills

        • Bullying can hinder the development of essential social skills, such as empathy, communication, and conflict resolution. Victims may become less adept at navigating social situations.
      5. Low Self-Esteem and Confidence

        • Persistent bullying can erode a child's self-esteem and confidence, leading them to doubt their social worth and abilities. This can make social interactions more challenging and less rewarding.
However there are several more issues that could affect child's other factors of development infect too.
Here we can find some ideas how to deal with bullying in classrooms.

@Uzma-qamar dear as a teacher we need to see what are the problems faced by passive learners first . We can make some activities to make them socially interactive . Also can give them task to leas the group or an activity that I use in my class is to make 5 helping hands in class so with some special task to give them . So that they be more active and more exposed to give response.

    • RE: One Small Step for you,One Big step for Sustainability. There is always Something to improve !

@Bousl2336873cb4 Absolutely true sir. Only a single step can make a difference . Today's most important issue that we all are facing is climate change. Here in my country Pakistan every year then summer is becoming more hot due to climate change. If I talk about whole world is facing climate change after effects will be true. We need to step forward little bit and and we can overcome the after effects. For that students should be given more awareness and do some energy saving activities . Even if we ask them to minimise the use of things that are hazard for environment so that we can contribute towards sustainable environment.
My suggestion could be like children in winter or summer holidays or vacations should be taken into online environment fun lovely activities everyday such as recycling the thing, or one day for saving energy to switch off the the electric things and spending nature walk to save energy. , similarly the plantation activities, growing seeds activity, water conservation activities etc.

@Ana_moderator hi . This is Mariam from Pakistan. I really like the topic and the activities you suggested.
Most of the time it happens that we get over exhausted while continuously teaching. So sometime I use to take my class outside to visit the school premises.
I also start telling them stories and play music
Sometimes we do some physical exercises to boost them up for work .

    • Teaching through games and competitions enhance learning in class as well as it n school.

Teaching and learning process is continuous . The smooth learning is the key to get an environment where learners is always ready to learn. The gamifying classroom provides a wide range of activities through games .
It gives a teacher an opportunity to get a quick response from students.
It also allows learner to see the mistakes and correct them.
It provides encouragement to learner to do more and don't give up .
Gamifying classrooms enhance cognitive development of learners and let them enhance their attention , reasoning and comprehension. .
In my class experience about gaming is amazing . Iin language class I have made a reading corner where children are given the task to find the difficult words past it on the wall and give the chance to others to find the meaning and make sentences about that word and see who can do it at his best level .
I also organised spelling bee competition in class as well as in school so that vocabulary of children increases.
I have also observed that when we had celebrated a week of stories. Students had learn a lot with loving games

@Engr-Zeeshan sir true . It is the need of todays world to make our students awareness of digital tools. I know there are many hurdles in teaching students with digital tools still in some schools where there is lack of resources but we being a teacherknow that we have mobile which is actually the main resource. We can search for such activities that help our teaching methodology to teach our students at the best use of technologies. Climate change is the main issue.we can go for searching some website that best deals with this issue and teach our students.

To be a greener teacher we need to make our students the little green stars of environment. That means making our students able to do eco friendly work and the little practical approach to make our environment sustainable. Some of Idea could be,
1 ) students should be given a system of ranking in school with title of warrior against pollution.lets see who will keep the school and neighbourhood more clean and take actions against pollution.
      2) working on energy saving activities at least once in a week .
      3) celebrate once in a year then plantation day
To tag a plant with students name and nurture it by taking care of it when it grows it gives big contributions towards greening our environment.
The activities could be published so that all the schools should take initiative to make our environment sustainable.
The teacher along with little green stars can contribute to be a greener teacher.

Dear ma'am Ana yes it's true Pakistan has faced the natural disasters Which severely affected the areas where it happened . As far as climate refugee are concerned it is natural that peoples home have destroyed and due to heavy casualties they had to leave the area but for time being then government of Pakistan has built new Houses and agricultural activities and worked on rehabilitation process not only this but new schools were built for children . definitely they build camps at first but due to taking every possible step they had to migrate for time being.but still it needs a huge work to be done.

@Oojala-Tasneem ms to prepare our students for future challenges is most important task. Which is use of technology ,it's learning as skill and solving the issues related to it.In this regard I think the focus on practical work with the use of technology is essential. Theories and laws which are the part of syllabus need practical work and hands on learning.with the use of Ai assisstive tools students get into the new learning journey which giving them opportunity that without waiting work on personalized environment to learn and explore more .

    • RE: Stress-management for students (and teachers): activities to reduce stress (new ideas each week!)

@Ana_moderator I think best way to manage stress in class is to have friendly relationship with students but in discipline.
What I do is to Identify the student's behaviour if it is unusual I talk to his or her peers first see his or social activities and go to counselling my students at least once in a week.
Secondly whatever my inner feelings or problems I I've I keep them a side and give healthy environment to my students.
Thirdly taking them outside the class asking for deep breaths and thinking to thank God to bless us healthy and complete body parts. Count the blessings and thank God every day .and so on give 5 to 10 minutes on alternating days .
