In today’s fast-paced world, cultivating kindness is more important than ever. That’s why we’ve launched a Kindness Campaign at our school—to intentionally nurture empathy, respect, and positive relationships among students and staff.
Our campaign includes simple yet powerful activities like:
Kindness walls where students leave kind notes for peers,
Secret acts of kindness challenges,
Gratitude circles during morning assemblies, and
Peer appreciation cards.
We’ve also involved parents and teachers to model kind behavior and celebrate small acts that make a big difference. It’s heartwarming to see students becoming more mindful of each other’s feelings, helping without being asked, and speaking more positively.
Kindness doesn’t just improve school culture—it builds emotional intelligence, reduces bullying, and boosts well-being.

In our school, we support girls by encouraging their voices in class, offering mentoring, involving them in leadership roles, and celebrating their achievements. We also create a safe, respectful environment where they feel confident to speak, lead, and grow.

I love incorporating brain breaks into my teaching! For recharging, I use short dance sessions or stretching exercises. To switch attention, I find drawing or puzzles helpful. For calming down, breathing exercises or journaling work well. # Even Breathing exercises have been a game-changer for me! I've witnessed a remarkable positive shift in my students' focus and calmness. It's amazing how such a simple practice can have a profound impact on both mental clarity and emotional well-being.

You can implement gamification in any topic by turning the lesson into an interactive, reward-based experience. Here’s how to apply it to another topic—let’s say “Parts of Speech” in English:
Give students points for correctly identifying parts of speech in sentences.
Start with basic nouns and verbs (Level 1), then move to adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, etc. as they progress to higher levels.
Award badges like “Grammar Guru” or “Adjective Expert” as they master each part of speech.
Use platforms like Kahoot, Quizizz, or make your own classroom quiz game where students answer questions in a timed challenge.
Group students and let them compete in identifying and sorting words into correct parts of speech.

Students can choose to sit on cushions, use standing desks, or gather around discussion tables depending on the activity. This flexibility boosts their focus, comfort, and ownership of learning.
