I believe, teaching is not just a profession but it is my passion. It is a way by which we lead and guide innocent lifes. There are certain points that I have gathered from my ten years of teaching experience.
First point is to understand your students,
know their backgrounds, acknowledge students' cultural, social, and academic diversity.
Second most importnat point is to establish a positive, respectful relationship with students to build trust and motivation. By developing positive relationship with students they develop strong bond and connection with their teacher not only this but they follow their teachers' instruction.
3rd point that is related with teacher that he/she should have command on his subject and should have deep knowledge.
As I was reading book of Stephen Covey that "7 Habbits of Higly Effective people" where he shared 7 habbits and the 7th was "sharpen your saw" means one should remain updated. We should continuously learn about new technologies in our field and expertise to remain relevant and confident.
Besides, we also should employ a range of Teaching Methods in order to develop interest of the students. Use of Interactive methods, discussions, team activities, and experiential activities. One should learn to add technology integration by Employ digital tools, videos, an interactive sites to augment learning.
I will conclude my whole discussion with that
A good teacher is a lifelong learner who combines knowledge, empathy, creativity, and professionalism. Through constant self-improvement and adjustments to students' needs, a teacher not only teaches but also inspires and molds individuals.
