• Collaborative Activities for ESL Students

I strongly believe that collaborative and peer to peer learning are effective as they they provide opportunities for engagement and student autonomy. What resources do you use for collaborative learning in your classroom?

    I completely agree!
Collaborative and peer-to-peer learning really boost engagement and give students a sense of ownership over their learning. In my classroom, I use tools like Google Docs for real-time collaboration and breakout rooms for small group discussions.
Sometimes, I also assign peer review tasks which help students learn from each other’s feedback.
What about you? Any favorite resources or strategies you’d recommend?

  • @ANAST599f3e1717 I completely agree!
Collaborative and peer to peer learning not only boost engagement but also build critical thinking and communication skills. In my classroom, I often use group projects, think-pair-share activities, and digital tools to encourage real time collaboration. It’s amazing to see how students learn from each other and take ownership of their learning.

  • @ANAST599f3e1717 I strongly agree collaborative learning is the best way .. I prefer this learning method..

I use project based learning in which students work together according to their learning style some students are good in writing some are good in speaking etc in this way they create something new and amazing..

Sometimes I use game based method that is time bound.. They work in group and learn alot.. This is the best way of evaluation that is usually use.

Think-Pair-Share: Students think about a question, discuss it with a partner, then share with the class.
Jigsaw Method: Each group member studies a part of the topic and teaches it to the others.
