• Pass the Map: A Fun Way to Learn Social Studies

    Hello dear teachers,
Today I want to share with you how I check if all students have really grasped the day’s lesson by playing this simple fun game it keeps everyone engaged while helping me see who understood and who needs more support.

    Pass the Map

    How to Play:
1.I hand over a soft ball (or any small object).
    2. Play some music for a few seconds. Students pass the ball around.
    3. When the music stops the student holding the ball answers one question related to today’s lesson

    Example: “Name one river .”

Or “Which province has the largest desert?”

    1. If they answer correctly they stay in the game.If not they get one lifeline from a friend.

    2. After 6–7 rounds we give a big clap for everyone. 👏

    Students love it:

It feels like play not a test.
Everyone listens carefully because they might be next it builds team spirit and keeps the lesson fresh in their minds and helps me quickly check who understood the lesson.
