• Reducing Test Anxiety Through Practice and Support

    @Sanam Sanam, I really appreciate how you emphasized both mindset and methods. Giving clear expectations, practicing under timed conditions, and providing assessment options are all wonderful ways to reduce stress. Student choice can be a game-changer for confidence and engagement! 🔄✅

    Mariya, your approach of embedding mindfulness and emotional support into the daily routine is so powerful. Modeling positive affirmations and making emotional well-being a part of classroom culture truly helps students internalize coping strategies. Thank you for this beautiful insight. 💖

    @Sanaa
    I encourage students to adopt anxiety-reducing practices consistently by making them a routine part of the classroom culture. I start each day with a mindfulness exercise, such as deep breathing or meditation, and incorporate positive affirmations into our daily routine. I also provide opportunities for students to reflect on their own learning and emotions, helping them develop self-awareness and self-regulation skills. By giving students choices and allowing them to express themselves creatively, they feel more invested and in control. Additionally, I model these practices myself, showing students that managing stress and anxiety is a lifelong process that requires effort and commitment. By doing so, students learn to prioritize their well-being and develop healthy habits that benefit them beyond the classroom.

    Zymal, I love how you’re making emotional health a daily practice. Starting the day with mindfulness and giving students a voice through reflection and creativity builds not just calm, but ownership and self-awareness too. Your modeling of these practices is a wonderful example. 🌱

    A great reminder. Opening up to trusted people can ease the weight of anxiety and offer clarity. Support and perspective often make challenges feel more manageable.

  • @Mariya-Rajpar So true, Mariya 🌸 Sometimes just sharing what’s on our mind lightens the burden. Trusted conversations often lead to healing — not by solving everything, but by reminding us we’re not alone.

  • @Mariya-Rajpar Beautifully said! 🤝 The simple act of opening up can turn confusion into clarity. Thank you for highlighting the quiet power of support and listening ears.

  • @Mariya-Rajpar
    Absolutely, Mariya 💬 Talking to someone who genuinely cares can shift our whole perspective. Thank you for the gentle reminder that strength doesn’t mean silence — it means knowing when to reach out.

  • @Mariya-Rajpar Yes! 🌿 Connection is sometimes the best medicine. Just being heard can make even the toughest days feel a bit lighter. Grateful for your kind insight, Mariya.

  • While testing children I usually tell them that we have a competition between us so they will do their best to compete.
    Sometimes I never tell them that they are being tested I just make some games and make it as if I am taking points. ☺

  • @Mariya-Rajpar I totally agree with you dear friend you must always reduce anxiety for students the test is not an ogre to fear it it must be embraced as a part of the education process
