• Flipped Classroom Implementation: Share Your Experiences!

    @Shaguftabisharat
    You're absolutely right!
The flipped classroom method using engaging videos with voiceovers and visuals allows students to learn at their own pace at home. It was especially effective during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting remote learning and making class time more focused on discussion, problem-solving, and deeper understanding.

  • As far as advantages of flipped class room is concerned, this method is perfect for this age because students can get knowledge at their own from teacher's video and social media. They can remove their problems through different ways .even then they are having questions in their mind they can discuss in class .This is time consuming too.

  • It was really enjoyable and time consuming. All students did participate warmly in collecting notes, participating in discussion and activities.

  • Flipped Classroom strategy is very useful specially for Pakistani public school where lack of facilitations and less time for over all session consist of whole year, completion of scheme of studies and teaching learning based on activities is a big challenge for teachers. In flipped classroom a teacher has opportunity to send online assignment and learning materials in the form of recorded lectures, videos, images etc as home work. With the help of this students prepare themselves for next lesson or topic at home, through this engagement and interest of students develop in learning and activities and it also save time and students learn the topic for long lasting.

life is continuously learning process and teaching is a very noble and honourable profession so we should proud and deddicated to our profession.

  • I agree with you and would like to share my experience of how the flipped classroom saved my time. I used social media tools like WhatsApp, where students learned the topic at home. I shared videos, voice notes, and pictures related to the specific topic and also answered their questions online.
In the classroom, we implemented this learning through group discussions, experiments, hands-on activities, and project-making.
You know what? When the students shared their feedback about the flipped classroom, it literally made me happy. They said,
"Miss, the way we learned the topic, it stayed in our minds for a long time. It was very interesting. We really enjoyed it and started loving learning and science more than before."
They also shared that even the difficult topics became easy through these project-making and presentation activities.

Let’s turn classrooms into wonderlands of learning.

Yeah I've tried the flipped classroom approach in my teaching. I record my lectures and upload on my youtube channel . My students watch these videos before coming to class. In class they work in groups and in pairs and take part in discussion. They give presentation also. I've observed that students are very active and concentrated. They take interest in different activities and learn more and easily than traditional teaching in which they are passive and learn less than flipped classroom approach. Their critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaborative skills are improved in flipped classroom approach. They grasp knowledge more easily while working with their fellow students.

  • Students are encouraged to apply what they have learned through discussions, problem-solving, and collaborative work, resulting in a deeper understanding and better knowledge retention.

I also liked this concept personally it enhance critical thinking among student also they were curious to know the answer of their question. It promotes self learning in students.

  • Flipped classroom encourage students to think smart and sharp

  • Flipped class give us opportunity to engage student with us for longer time. It vl help us to design a fun activity for them

  • Sir, it's all true .In Flipped classroom environment students need to be self disciplined to complete the pre-class work at home through AI tools, means in other words he/she needs peaceful and suitable environment at both places i.e school or home.
Obviously both teacher and student can make more interactive and interesting learning process for such type of students.

I myself experience flipped class room the result was very positive and effective

FI used the flipped model in my high school math classes for several years, and I found the approach to have many benefits. Here are some suggestions for implementing the approach to make it more effective and enjoyable, both for you and for your students:

  • The flipped classroom model can significantly enhance the learning experience. By shifting direct instruction to the home environment, students gain the flexibility to review materials at their own pace, which is especially helpful for diverse learning needs. Meanwhile, classroom time becomes more dynamic and student-centered, allowing for collaboration, critical thinking, and individualized support. This not only boosts engagement but also helps teachers address specific challenges more effectively. When implemented thoughtfully, it can lead to meaningful improvements in both academic performance and classroom culture.

  • @Sanam Thank you! Preparing students beforehand really boosts their confidence and participation—making the learning experience richer for everyone.

  • @Ridafatima95 Glad you liked it! Flipped classrooms truly make class time more interactive—hope it works well for you too!

  • yes, sir I appreciated you views in flipped classroom they work by their self but i think their parents and friends also help them to do it is a good way they think in different ways and critical observation increase their knowledge so for this if teacher give them some work or experiments must be this type of when they understand

  • How we use Flipped classroom implementation method in our project

In my project, “Set It Right – Exploring Union and Intersection through Project-Based Learning,”I’ve implemented the flipped classroom approach to make learning more engaging and student-centered.

Before our class sessions, I provide students with short, easy-to-follow videos that explain the basic concepts of union and intersection of sets using simple language and relatable examples. I usually upload these videos on our class platform along with a few guiding questions to help them reflect on what they’ve learned. This gives them the opportunity to understand the theory at their own pace, without the pressure of the classroom.

When we meet in class, we shift the focus to collaborative activities. Students work in small groups to apply what they’ve learned—collecting real-life data like favorite foods, sports, or hobbies, and using that information to create Venn diagrams that show unions and intersections. I act more as a facilitator during this time, guiding them and encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and creativity.

After the activity, I ask them to reflect on their learning—either through a short write-up, peer feedback, or a class presentation. Sometimes, we display their work on the classroom wall or share it digitally so they can feel a sense of accomplishment and ownership.

Using the flipped classroom model has really enhanced the learning experience. Students come to class better prepared and more confident, and the class time is much more interactive and meaningful. I’ve noticed they retain the concepts better when they’re actively involved in the learning process.

This method has worked especially well for abstract topics like sets because it turns theory into something they cansee, touch, and relate to.
