Re: Flipped Classroom Implementation: Share Your Experiences!
I have applied Flipped Classroom approach to my teaching. I record my lectures and upload videos on my youtube channel youtube.com/gelccmatiari and ask students to watch videos on my youtube channel before coming to class. Moreover I've created whatsapp group of my class where I share videos of my youtube channel. The students watch these videos and come to classroom prepared. In classroom they take part in group work, pair work, discussion and presentation. This approach has enhanced students engagement and interest in learning. I've faced some challanges. These challanges include some students don't have access to internet and digital tools so they can't watch my videos, second challange is second language problem. Videos are in second language that is english so some students face to understand words properly. I comeover these challanges by making my videos shorter and understandable by using simple words so as students can understand. I've encouraged parrent's support and providing offline options.

Feeling like your classroom time could be used more effectively?
Ever wish you had more one-on-one interaction with your teacher?
Let's dive into the flipped classroom model and see how it can revolutionize learning!
In a nutshell, the flipped classroom reverses the traditional approach. Instead of lectures happening in class and homework done at home, students engage with learning materials (like videos or readings) before class. Then, classroom time becomes a dynamic space for discussion, activities, problem-solving, and deeper understanding! π§β

No more feeling left behind!
- More Active Classroom Time: Class transforms from passive listening to active participation!
You get to apply what you've learned, ask questions, and collaborate with peers.
- Personalized Support: With the basic content absorbed beforehand, teachers have more time to provide individualized help and address specific student needs.
- Deeper Understanding: By actively engaging with the material in class, you move beyond just memorization to a more profound grasp of the concepts.π§

How flipping my class turned passive students into problem-solvers?
Hi there dear,
I think the question you had written is asking you to answer. I think you have to share your insights if you are experienced. This forum is for sharing experiences. Our educators are working on this activity to present their skills for winning the competition set by UNESCO and IITE.
Although the material regarding the flipped class is all available on internet and any one can explore it but a real experience is some thing else. Please share your insights...

The flipped classroom implementation offers several advantages, including personalized learning, increased student engagement, and better use of class time. By learning foundational content at home, students can work at their own pace, and class time can be utilized for interactive activities, discussions, and hands-on projects, promoting deeper learning and collaboration. This approach also enables teachers to provide more targeted feedback and support, leading to improved student outcomes and a more effective learning environment.

Re: Flipped Classroom Implementation: Share Your Experiences!
As I perceive from flipped classroom is to record topic with eyechatching images or had video of that topic voice over and music in it and then explanation done by teacher then send to your students as they can see that video and understand the topic and complete the assigned task as homework or project.
I believe this is nice method during pandemic situation like during COVID-19 , students having online classes and prerecorded as flipped classroom lecture at home .Leave a legacy π β

You're absolutely right!
The flipped classroom method using engaging videos with voiceovers and visuals allows students to learn at their own pace at home. It was especially effective during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting remote learning and making class time more focused on discussion, problem-solving, and deeper understanding. -
As far as advantages of flipped class room is concerned, this method is perfect for this age because students can get knowledge at their own from teacher's video and social media. They can remove their problems through different ways .even then they are having questions in their mind they can discuss in class .This is time consuming too.
-
It was really enjoyable and time consuming. All students did participate warmly in collecting notes, participating in discussion and activities.

Flipped Classroom strategy is very useful specially for Pakistani public school where lack of facilitations and less time for over all session consist of whole year, completion of scheme of studies and teaching learning based on activities is a big challenge for teachers. In flipped classroom a teacher has opportunity to send online assignment and learning materials in the form of recorded lectures, videos, images etc as home work. With the help of this students prepare themselves for next lesson or topic at home, through this engagement and interest of students develop in learning and activities and it also save time and students learn the topic for long lasting.
life is continuously learning process and teaching is a very noble and honourable profession so we should proud and deddicated to our profession.

I agree with you and would like to share my experience of how the flipped classroom saved my time. I used social media tools like WhatsApp, where students learned the topic at home. I shared videos, voice notes, and pictures related to the specific topic and also answered their questions online.
In the classroom, we implemented this learning through group discussions, experiments, hands-on activities, and project-making.
You know what? When the students shared their feedback about the flipped classroom, it literally made me happy. They said,
"Miss, the way we learned the topic, it stayed in our minds for a long time. It was very interesting. We really enjoyed it and started loving learning and science more than before."
They also shared that even the difficult topics became easy through these project-making and presentation activities.Letβs turn classrooms into wonderlands of learning.

Yeah I've tried the flipped classroom approach in my teaching. I record my lectures and upload on my youtube channel . My students watch these videos before coming to class. In class they work in groups and in pairs and take part in discussion. They give presentation also. I've observed that students are very active and concentrated. They take interest in different activities and learn more and easily than traditional teaching in which they are passive and learn less than flipped classroom approach. Their critical thinking, problem solving, communication and collaborative skills are improved in flipped classroom approach. They grasp knowledge more easily while working with their fellow students.Yousuf Memon from Pakistan

Sir, it's all true .In Flipped classroom environment students need to be self disciplined to complete the pre-class work at home through AI tools, means in other words he/she needs peaceful and suitable environment at both places i.e school or home.
Obviously both teacher and student can make more interactive and interesting learning process for such type of students..... Faraza Afridi

FI used the flipped model in my high school math classes for several years, and I found the approach to have many benefits. Here are some suggestions for implementing the approach to make it more effective and enjoyable, both for you and for your students:
