Through my participation in the UNESCO Competition 3.0, I discovered the powerful educational benefits of podcasts. One key insight I gained is how podcasts can enhance learning beyond the classroom walls. They offer flexible, accessible, and student-centered learning opportunities, especially for students in low-resource settings.
Podcasts help learners engage with content at their own pace, improve listening and critical thinking skills, and express themselves through creative audio storytelling. I was particularly inspired by how podcasting promotes collaboration, confidence, and digital literacy — giving every student a platform to share their voice.
Now, I actively use podcasts in my classroom. Whether it's through student-created episodes, reflective audio journals, or listening to educational podcasts followed by discussions, I've seen how this tool transforms traditional lessons into engaging, meaningful experiences.
Thank you, UNESCO, for introducing this innovative approach to teaching. It’s not just a competition; it’s a step toward future-ready education.
