• "UNESCO 3.0 Inspired Me to Bring Podcasts into the Classroom"

🎧 Through my participation in the UNESCO Competition 3.0, I discovered the powerful educational benefits of podcasts. One key insight I gained is how podcasts can enhance learning beyond the classroom walls. They offer flexible, accessible, and student-centered learning opportunities, especially for students in low-resource settings.

Podcasts help learners engage with content at their own pace, improve listening and critical thinking skills, and express themselves through creative audio storytelling. I was particularly inspired by how podcasting promotes collaboration, confidence, and digital literacy — giving every student a platform to share their voice.

✨ Now, I actively use podcasts in my classroom. Whether it's through student-created episodes, reflective audio journals, or listening to educational podcasts followed by discussions, I've seen how this tool transforms traditional lessons into engaging, meaningful experiences.

🌍 Thank you, UNESCO, for introducing this innovative approach to teaching. It’s not just a competition; it’s a step toward future-ready education.

This testimony is truly inspiring! In today’s audiovisual era, turning podcasts into a pedagogical tool has become essential. I’ve tried it myself in my middle school reading club to improve reading aloud, and the results were remarkable. Students became more motivated, started reading more, and even began exchanging books with one another, which eventually led us to take part in a national competition!

Congratulations for highlighting such a powerful idea, it shows how podcasting can creatively and effectively transform the learning experience. Keep up the amazing reflexion!

    Hello Dear ,
I completly acknowledge your thougts about the use of Podcast as a pedagogical tool. I also certain that some of student s who are shy to speak in front of class could share their reflection in podcast. some who are less expressive this strategy coukd bringout their inner thoughts . Students who are confident could make theri communiction more effective, to the point and also they can learn new words, idoms, pharese or some complex sentences to deliver their thoughts.

    Hello Dear,
Im sure you are enjoying summer vacations. Yes Im certain about using this technology to my classroom, as an engligh lanuage educator I prefer students to more effectively express their thoought not on curriculum but on general topics too. As the text I teach has vast topics to think and express. So podcast not only helps them to share but this is a easy way to listen on different time on our SUSTAINABLE LEARNING CIRCLE.
