Media literacy is a skill of the 21st century
Currently, one of the most complex and urgent problems is with basic knowledge
armed, free, independent, fully included in society and creative
is the training and education of individuals. It continues its important role in this matter
have the school. The 21st century is the century of information and scientific knowledge, and that's it
means that the educational system must solve a fundamentally new, global problem:
prepare the generations for new life conditions and activities
in the information and mobile world. Therefore, at this stage of society's development
there is a need to create such an educational space in the school where
students will develop qualities that meet the requirements of the 21st century:
knowledge, abilities and skills.
Media literacy is a skill of the 21st century, we need to develop it from an early age, for this I use ICT tools in almost all fine arts classes in the form of games (quiz, learning app), slides, videos. And how do you use ICT tools? Let's share our effective experience here. -
RE: Students regularity issues in school
@Tabasebab67ddca
I worked for many years as an organizer of educational work with students. In our school, in cooperation with the Student, Parent and Pedagogical Councils, we developed internal disciplinary rules. The class teachers presented those rules at the beginning of the school year, as a result of the discussion, the students designed the poster with those rules, sometimes adding their suggested point. The rules can be defined as- How should I present myself (the student)?
-DURING CLASS, - TO THE CLASS,
-During CONFERENCES and SCHOOL EVENTS.
For example: not being late for class, showing up in physical education classes in sports uniform...
Internal disciplinary rules can be developed for each point. It would be good for the students to suggest these rules after agreeing with the teacher. That way we will be able to provide a cooperative environment. - How should I present myself (the student)?

RE: "The Role of Technology in Modern Elementary, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education: Benefits, Challenges, and Best Practices."
@Engr-Zeeshan
Elementary education
Advantages:Involvement
Interactive apps and games make learning more interesting.
Different ways of learning.
Videos, audio and graphic materials are used to support different learning styles.
Cooperation. Enables students to work in groups, even remotely.Challenges
Deviation
Technology can distract students.
Ability to log in. Not all students have the right devices or internet access.Parent involvement
Parents are often unaware of technology use methods.
Best experience
In classes, I often use interactive games, video films, as well as slideshows, mostly created with the CANVA program. Even with the use of ICT I provide a musical environment in the classroom, I use classical music in my art classes as well as nature sounds like the ocean, birds, etc. when studying the relevant topic.

Let's discuss the benefits and challenges of Co-Teaching
Team teaching is an instructional method in which two or more teachers plan, teach, and assess the same lesson together. This method has many advantages that can improve the quality of teaching and the effectiveness of the educational process.
The main points of joint teaching are:
Planning
Teachers meet regularly to plan together the structure, content and methods of lessons.
Classification and clear responsibilities. It is clearly defined who will do what during the lesson, which ensures the effective course of the lesson.Teaching
Complementary skills
Each teacher uses their strengths and skills to make the class rich and engaging.
Differentiated learning. Teachers can differentiate instruction to accommodate the different needs and abilities of students.
Evaluation and feedback.Joint assessment
Teachers evaluate students' work together, providing clearer and more comprehensive feedback.Analysis and improvement
After the lesson, teachers discuss what went well and what could be improved for the following.
I listed the points, let's discuss the advantages and challenges of co-teaching. Have you tried co-teaching with colleagues? Have you not faced a problem?

How to have an Eco school? Share your experience
Ecology is a science that studies the connections, relationships, characteristics of the environment and living organisms.
Students' environmental knowledge, as an integral part of educational culture, is an irreplaceable tool for demonstrating environmental behavior in everyday life, solving seemingly unsolvable issues before they become problems, infecting and following people around them with their example, cooperating with older and younger friends.
I want to start with the environmental group. Will you help me with your ideas?
Please share your experience, How to have an Eco school.

RE: Media literacy is a skill of the 21st century
Dear colleagues, share your experience.
I will gladly read your opinions and listen to your suggestions.
How do you develop critical thinking in your students? What tools do you use, what kind of questions do you ask? -
How do you integrate the SDGs into your lessons?
Integrating the 17 goals of sustainable development into the curriculum. Today I want to share my experience with you. I often refer to the goals of sustainable development in Fine Arts classes. See what kind of end result I got from integrating the "Life under water" goal. I talked about the problem of the World Ocean when we studied Seascape or when we had the thematic depiction of the underwater world.
Pictures of my students and footage from fine arts classes.
By the way, this year our country was included in the list of European Blue Schools for the first time, in which I made a contribution.
Ensure the conservation and sustainable use of oceans, seas and water resources for sustainable development
And how do you integrate the topics for sustainable development?

RE: Media literacy is a skill of the 21st century
Thank you Mr @Burfatmukhtiar
Yes, it is very important for teachers to master ICT tools in the modern world. The state should take care of that by training teachers. In my opinion, the teacher should keep up with the times in order to make his lessons interesting and multi-content. A teacher of the 21st century should not be satisfied with what he knows, but should continue self-education, be an example for his students. -
RE: The Importance of Emotional Intelligence in the Classroom.
@BRYANb8875625e5
Thank you Mr. Bryan for the information, you gave me an idea to write a research paper on this topic. When I want to arouse the interest of my students in the lesson, I try to use my emotions, by the way, it helps a lot. -
The subject as a factor in the attitude of values
Here you can share what values and attitudes you form within your subject. Analyzing done
works for teaching "Fine Art" subject
framework, I came to the conclusion that fine art
communicating to different types and independently
carrying out artistic activities contributes to
not only to the artistic education of students,
to the formation of aesthetic and moral values, but also
national-patriotic and humanitarian feelings
rooting, self-recognition of a person,
to self-expression and broadening one's horizons, as
also to the digital domain, to nature, to the mother tongue
to the formation of a positive attitude.

RE: Let's discuss the benefits and challenges of Co-Teaching
When the topic is extensive, we can carry out joint teaching with our teacher partner.
Or when we have integrated several subjects in our lesson, we can ask, for example, the mathematics teacher to conduct his lesson.
When I was conducting an integrated lesson in Fine Arts, I asked the teacher to help me. Together we worked out the steps of our work, defined goals, tasks and distributed work. Then my partner did the beginning of the lesson and the group work, and I did the practical and summary part of the game. -

RE: Let's discuss the benefits and challenges of Co-Teaching
@FAWADd542c713bc
Dear colleague, thank you for your opinion. You have made an interesting analysis. And can you say the positive side?
For example, in my opinion, from the teaching of two different specialists, we can have a versatile student. -
RE: What students need from teacher in school?
@Burfatmukhtiar
A lot of love and dedication to his student. If the child loved the teacher, then he will also love the subject. Yes, love has decreased a lot today, you cannot teach without loving. A teacher should be able to earn respect from a student. You don't get respect by force, but you have to get it gradually, with your attitude, your work style, your personality. A teacher must not only be very intelligent, rich in knowledge, but also must be able to transfer knowledge. According to me, they don't become teachers, they are born teachers. -

RE: Techy teacher
@Raj-Kumar
Thanks for the interesting topic.
We also use the Moodle platform in Armenia. That platform was used very well during the COVID, it has many possibilities. Yes, in my opinion, the teacher of the 21st century must master ICT tools in order to be able to keep up with modern challenges. As a colleague mentioned, we should be able to use it effectively in the teaching process. In this way, our student will understand that ICT is not only social networks or modern computer games, which waste time pointlessly, but ICT is for obtaining information and education. Yes, we know that the 21st century child likes to play, why not use the game to master our lesson, or we know today's generation likes to watch a movie or cartoon, why not make an instructional video or slide show or find it on the Internet? will help raise our children better. The teacher of the 21st century should conduct the classroom in such a way that the child learns his subject with love. We are obliged to do the best for our children, they are our future.Sincerely, Ani Bareghamya
