    • RE: The Role of Digital Tools in Education and The Importance of Data Safety

Hello! I'm Adelyn, an English teacher from Sabah, Malaysia. Currently i'm teaching at SMK Takis Papar, Sabah. It's a semi-rural high school in the state of Sabah. I'm quite interested on the topic. As I'm teaching form 6 students, they are attached in using ChatGPT when come to learning English language or anything related to the language. So I believe these students must be taught ethical use of ChatGPT in schools. As they are relying too much on it to do all the thinking or assignments for students without their involvement. They also need to be reminded not input sensitive personal information into ChatGPT too. So it's crucial for us as teachers to teach digital citizenship and data privacy awareness when using AI tools.

    • RE: Curriculum pressure to meet standards

Hello. I'm Adelyn, an English teacher from Sabah. Malaysia. I'm currently teaching in SMK Takis Papar. A semi-rural school in Sabah state. I'm quite interested on the topic. As I do believe curriculum do pressure not just students but teachers as well. And I totally agreed that it definitely reducing teaching time as well. The joy of teaching and learning is taken away, and replaced with rote learning. Curriculum Overload: A content-heavy syllabus has pressured most Malaysian teachers to “cover everything,” leaving little time for deeper exploration. Add on to the issue, large class sizes do makes it difficult to implement student-centered or project-based learning consistently.
