      I just watched the video by Shumaila Owais!! Beautifully blended each topic in gamification. and so amazed how she has so many ideas of converting a difficult topic into a simplified game so that kids can learn easily with fun and board marking was motivating them to do better from the last game.

    • RE: Preparing Students for the next Decade.

      My thinking is a little different: we are focusing on digital skills a lot lately, but I think kids should also be prepared to learn life skills. They must know how they can grow their own food, how they can farm, fish, cook their own food, and light a fire. It's not like I am asking for preparing them for surviving in the wild 🙂 , but these are the basic needs that can also be taught to kids for the next decades.

      @LISELLI I’ve found that locally made videos, even if simple, build stronger connection and engagement. They’re more relatable and make abstract concepts easier to understand. Keep doing it. it may take time, but the impact on student learning and confidence is real.

    • RE: Approaches in Gamification Across Subjects

      I’ve been integrating gamification through tools like Kahoot, team challenges, and escape-room tasks. It’s helped boost engagement and collaboration. My biggest challenge has been time, creating meaningful activities takes planning. But the reward is worth it—students are more involved and often ask for more gamified learning!

      @LISELLI your approach is truly inspiring! I love how you’ve beautifully blended cultural identity with education, using Carnival, calypso, and traditional dance creates such an engaging and affirming learning environment. The way you connect students with their roots while teaching complex topics is a real strength. Your use of animation made the science content more accessible, and the added song was so charming it really lifted the mood and made the lesson memorable.
      Overall, your project is a wonderful example of how culture, creativity can come together. It’s both joyful and effective , thank you for sharing such a dynamic and thoughtful experience!
      The podcast are usually boring to listen but your video is so engaging and full of fun I am sure your students also enjoy your class.

      @Denis-Kudaimetov
      I truly admire the incredible effort you’ve put into connecting your students with peers from three different countries. As a fellow teacher, I know how challenging it is to manage coordination across various time zones and that’s no small task. Time management and thoughtful planning are essential for such a project, and you've handled it all so well.

      What stood out to me was your creative use of Padlet it brought a fun and interactive layer to the collaboration. I also appreciated the structured approach in your project, including the roadmap, development plans, presentations, and scripts all clearly showing the depth of your planning.

      I must mention, coming from a context where we often face resource limitations, I was especially impressed by how you've overcome such barriers. Your work in graphic design, IT integration, and cyber safety was inspiring. It’s clear that your students are not just engaged, they’re being prepared for real-world IT roles. I'm sure many future professionals will emerge from your classroom!

      The tools you shared were fantastic . I’ve bookmarked quite a few of them as they were new to me and will definitely support my own teaching practice. Your video was not just informative but also uplifting, packed with practical ideas.

      Wishing you continued success and I’m truly looking forward to learning more from you in the future!

      @Moham323d135850 I watched your video I would like to share my insights. The use of a memory game board to teach seasons is both creative and effective. The visual approach and reward system (scoreboard and badges) clearly boost motivation and help young students retain concepts. It’s wonderful to see how clearly the seasons were explained. For even greater engagement, consider adding more interactive elements or movement-based tasks. Overall, a well-thought-out and inspiring lesson!

      @Nguyen-T-Phuong Hi! Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. I really appreciate that you connected with the idea of using inclusive technology like Google Lens, especially in large classrooms where it’s easy for students to get left behind. 😊
      To your question about access: luckily, these days almost every student has a smartphone at home, so using tools like Google Lens has become much more realistic in class. For those who don’t, I pair them with classmates or share my own device briefly. I also introduce the tool gradually so students learn to use it smoothly and independently over time. I’d love to exchange more ideas if you end up trying it in your own lessons!

      To fellow educators: start small. Even one game-based activity per week makes a difference. Most tools are free or low-cost, and even simple ideas (like badges or group missions) can have a big impact. It’s not about fancy tech. it’s about making learning fun and memorable.
