Limited access to technology in underdeveloped countries presents significant barriers to social, economic, and educational development.
Students face learning gap without access to digital tools fall behind in basic and digital literacy.
During events like the COVID-19 pandemic, lack of access excluded millions from remote education.
How can we solve this issue?

Lack of access to technology

@Ridafatima95 Not having enough technology makes it really hard for students to learn and keep up with others. We need more programs to provide devices and internet to all schools, especially in poor areas, so every student gets a fair chance to learn

@Ridafatima95 To bridge the digital divide, governments, NGOs, and tech companies must collaborate to provide affordable devices, expand internet access, and invest in teacher training. Low-tech solutions like radio, TV, and offline apps can also support learning in remote areas. Inclusivity must be a priority to ensure no child is left behind.

How can we solve this issue?Aslam o Alaikum dear Rida,
We are educators, and I believe it’s not our fault that millions were excluded from remote education during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, if we now have solutions and still remain silent, then yes — it is our fault. You’ve raised an important point for educators to discuss. But in my opinion, this isn’t just a topic for discussion — it demands quick and practical solutions. Although the pandemic is over, millions of students still lack access to essential technological facilities.
Therefore, I suggest that the communication gap between schools and top management should be reduced, in order to create an environment that promotes technology awareness and accessibility.
Thanks and regards
