Hi Ana,
I think Integrating environmental topics into the curriculum is so important for preparing my students to navigate and address one of the most pressing global challenges of our time here in Puerto Rico. By incorporating climate science, environmental studies, and sustainable practices into various subjects, we as educators can provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the causes and impacts of climate change.
At least one activity in each lesson was address in my classroom to these topics. It's cool to see how they apply Spanish class to write paragraph on these topics or living skills class. As teachers we have the power to nourish our curriculum to promote change and transformation.
Best,
Mr. Bryan
