Aslam o Alaikum dear Mishael-Naqash,
Hope this text finds you well.
As you know that the punishment has a ban in our country Pakistan. The educators must have to search a different technique for clear understandings to his/her students. All the techniques you had already specified In your post. What I like most is group study and home work assignment. Through these techniques I help students take responsibility, learn conflict resolution skills, and feel heard and valued.
What technique you use in your class?

@Mishael-Naqash Proactive and positive behavior strategies foster mutual respect and responsibility.
Clear expectations and strong teacher-student relationships build trust and safety.
Restorative practices promote accountability and empathy over punishment.
Unlike traditional punitive methods, these approaches reduce fear and resistance.
Shifting from control to collaboration empowers students and supports teacher well-being.
