  • My project entitled 'Agriculture 4.0' is part of the official program of life and earth sciences of the Tunisian Ministry of Education. It aims to raise awareness among students about technological advancements, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), and to demonstrate how these improve plant production techniques, thereby contributing to reducing global famine.
The project's title emphasizes the need to update agricultural techniques to meet global food needs, using technologies such as drones.
The project cover features three superimposed images symbolizing the use of drones to spray mineral salts, a student browsing the internet, and a teacher using ChatGPT in the classroom.
The two main objectives of the project are to inform students about the role of AI in improving plant production, particularly through methods such as drip irrigation and the use of drones, and to demonstrate the role of AI in student learning. Regarding the latter point, ChatGPT can serve as an educational tool by providing support, explanations, interactive exercises, personalized tutoring, and by encouraging students' curiosity. However, it emphasizes that the use of ChatGPT should not completely replace interaction with teachers but rather complement and support students' learning.

It is proven that globally mindful students are future effective lifelong learners. All critical areas
of the modern education system from project-based learning (PBL) to social-emotional learning
(SEL) and including the issues of conceptualizing diversity, inclusion and equity are encircled in
a global competence framework. Education policy never happens in a vacuum. Besides, global
competence supports the sustainable development goals. It is extremely important to nurture
global competence skills in order to prepare learners to be engaged glocal citizens, who are
creative, diverse and adaptive in a world of ambiguity and rapid change. It also requires the
    widest stakeholder participation.

Your teaching approach to integrating the SDGs into your curricilum sounds interesting, I hope you can share with us more about your practice with primary school students and the materials you use with us. I have shared some resources related to SDGs in the Teaching green category.

What do you think, maybe we could create a new topic where we gather resources to learn about SDGs and give feedback on how to use them?
