• TEACHER IS A ROLE MODEL OF THE STUDENTS

A teacher is considered a role model for students for several reasons:

    1. Influence: Teachers have a significant influence on students' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

    2. Trust: Students trust their teachers and look up to them for guidance and support.

    3. Authority figure: Teachers are authority figures in the classroom, and students often emulate their behavior.

    4. Positive impact: Teachers can have a positive impact on students' lives, shaping their values, beliefs, and attitudes.

    5. Learning by observation: Students learn by observing their teachers' actions, behaviors, and attitudes.

    6. Socialization: Teachers play a crucial role in socializing students, teaching them important life skills, and modeling social norms.

    7. Emotional connection: Teachers often form emotional bonds with students, making them more likely to imitate their behavior.

    8. Modeling values: Teachers model important values such as respect, empathy, and responsibility, which students adopt.

    9. Consistency: Teachers consistently demonstrate their character, reinforcing positive behaviors and attitudes.

    10. Long-term impact: Teachers' influence can extend beyond the classroom, shaping students' long-term goals, aspirations, and worldviews.

  • My personal experience is that in a teacher is a role model for there students so in todays teaching method a teacher should teach his or her students in which a student must use his 4 skills of communication collaboration critical thinking and creativity.

  • @MJANKb9ddefc9b1
I think if these 4Cs, which are considered as 21st century skills including some others I have already mentioned, are applied in proper way our teaching learning will be effective. Moreover an effective teacher is he/she who applies these 21st century skills in his/her teaching. In this way we can keep pace with the modern changing world. Othereise we will not only be left behind but will be no more.

    Hi @MJANKb9ddefc9b1
    Hope everything is going well,

For my students with autism, I have to transform every lesson to foster communication skills, and collaboration due to their challenges. One of the lessons I made for them was in science class where we worked anatomy. This anatomy activity involves students working in small groups to assemble a large human body puzzle with detachable organs and bones. Each student takes on a specific role, such as Assembler, Researcher, Labeler, or Presenter, to encourage communication and collaboration.

As they piece the puzzle together, the Researcher shares facts about each part, fostering critical thinking and discussion within the group. Once the puzzle is complete, the Labeler writes and places labels on the organs, and the Presenter shares the group's findings with the class, promoting creativity and reinforcing their understanding of human anatomy. This interactive and sensory-friendly activity engages students with autism, enhancing their teamwork and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment.

  • @MJANKb9ddefc9b1 A teacher acts as a role model for their students... In today's teaching methods, it's crucial for teachers to create an environment where students actively use their four key skills: communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. This approach not only enhances learning but also prepares students for future challenges...

  • Have you ever played a "Quiz Battle Royale" with your students? In this game, students compete in answering questions related to the subject matter. Each correct answer advances them to the next level, and incorrect answers provide hints and opportunities to try again. This interactive and competitive format can make learning fun and engaging. I have played it many times with my students...

  • @RAHEELSAHITO Role model can be anybody: a parent, a sibling, a friend but some of our most influential and life-changing role models are teachers. Teachers play important role in our life to become successful in career and business. A good teacher helps us to become good human being in the society and good citizen of the country.

  • @Sehar-Kazi I've found that students often view their teachers as role models, not just in terms of academic guidance, but also in terms of personal conduct and behavior. Many of my students have expressed admiration for me, saying, 'You're our favorite teacher, and we look up to you - we even take inspiration from the way you dress and carry yourself.

  • @RAHEELSAHITO Nice post Sir. The Teachers is also a Facilitator.
