ICT (Information and Communication Technology) refers to the integration and use of telecommunications, computers, software, and audiovisual systems that enable users to access, store, transmit, and manipulate information.

ICT (Information and Communication Technology) can be categorized into different levels based on the complexity and integration of technology in education.

Level 1: Basic ICT Literacy
Focus: Familiarization with basic ICT tools.
Activities: Learning to use computers, basic software (e.g., word processors, spreadsheets), and basic internet skills.
Goal: Develop foundational ICT skills.

Level 2: ICT Integration
Focus: Using ICT to enhance teaching and learning.
Activities: Integrating ICT tools into various subjects, using educational software, and incorporating multimedia resources.
Goal: Improve educational outcomes by integrating technology into the curriculum.

Level 3: ICT Transformation
Focus: Transforming educational practices through ICT.
Activities: Utilizing advanced technologies (e.g., coding, robotics, online collaboration tools), creating digital content, and fostering digital literacy.
Goal: Innovate and transform the educational experience, promoting critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

These levels reflect a progression from basic ICT skills to more advanced and transformative uses of technology in education.

@FarhanMehboob my lovely brother, you are very well known of the atmospheric conditions of Education in Pakistan. I think most of schools are still in level 1. Growing into level 2 is basic need of schools and for which UNESCO has organized this type of competition. Being part of this forum I feel proud.

@FarhanMehboob Hi I am Shah from Sindh.It is difficult with out resources to built innovative environment of classroom with ict but not impossible .In this challenging environment i m on the lavel 2.I used my personal resources to to come on the platform of teaching in 21st century.Its my personal efforts .my learners feel enjoy and take interest when they watched the educational videos according to the topics.at the end they asked different questions and I gave answers some time the interesting peer discussion started.These movements make my day coz i received the result of my efforts .

Current Level of ICT Integration in My Classroom that I apply in rural area jamshoro Sindh
Introducing students to fundamental computer skills such as using a keyboard and mouse, and navigating basic software applications.
Teaching students how to use the internet safely and effectively for educational purposes.as well i arrange audio visual class of my lesson or topic that I teach to students

To advance, we could explore more ICT integration by using educational software and multimedia tools to enhance learning. This step could help improve educational outcomes and make learning more engaging for students.

@shabeenaMemon it is good to hear from here on this forum. We teacher are also facilitator. How many Schools in our Rural area are running with laboratories. It is, how we use technology to get more benefit and increase learning.

Yes,it is very interesting question.coz some of us belong the area where the resources are limited .But SELD do the great job with different organizations, often through partnerships and collaborations, to enhance the integration of ICT in Sindh's education system, aiming to improve access to quality education and bridge the digital divide. Now as a teacher its our responsibility to enhance our learning towards ICT.
