  • @Sehar-Kazi
    Hi dear,
There is an artificial created forest school named as CCS The first forest school located in Karachi side area, location can be traced on google Map. I've contacted them and knew how they are working. Because after this post I was alos curious to know whether there is some school working in Pakistan and I found it.

They are an inclusive set up and cater to typical & Atypical kids. School cater to ASD, ADHD, GDD, DS, dyslexia and kids who cannot cope with the conventional school system.

Since it is an inclusive school, nature & an unstructured school environment helps the a-typicals kids with their sensory requirements and typical gain a lot of confidence, explore and get to learn new things as kids are not confined to a typical way of classroom setup.

They are also trying to build a forest environment in an urban area and it's called an urban forest school.

So if anyone has opportunity should visit school.

  • @Samreen-Tahir Thank you dear for increasing my knowledge.

  • @Samreen-Tahir As-salamo-alaiqum Sister,
It’s wonderful to hear about CCS and their innovative approach to education! The concept of a forest school, especially in an urban area like Karachi, is truly inspiring. It’s heartening to know that they provide an inclusive environment that supports a wide range of needs and helps all students thrive in a more natural and exploratory setting.

The idea of blending nature with education to accommodate both typical and atypical students is a fantastic example of how flexible and adaptive learning environments can be. It's exciting to think about the positive impact this could have on students’ sensory experiences, confidence, and overall engagement with learning.

If you or anyone else has the chance, visiting CCS could offer valuable insights into how alternative educational models can be effectively implemented and adapted in different contexts. Thank you for sharing this information—it’s a great resource for those interested in progressive educational approaches!

Happy to know that these type of schools are present in Pakistan.

  • thanl you for the new
