• "Digital Natives: The 21st-Century Generation 🌟"

Let´s have a discussion on the digital world. Who are the people of 21st century. What are their rotine works. Are we who grown in 20th century, part of 21st century. I jsut summarize these things for our better understanding.

The 21st-century generation, often called "digital natives," has grown up surrounded by technology, including smartphones, the internet, and social media. This constant exposure has shaped how they communicate, preferring quick and digital methods like texting and social media over traditional forms of interaction.

They are highly aware of global issues and cultures, thanks to easy access to information online. This awareness fuels their commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and social justice. They advocate for equal rights and opportunities for all people.

Environmental concerns are also significant to this generation. They support eco-friendly practices and are conscious of the impact their actions have on the planet.

Adaptability is a key factor, as they are quick to learn and adjust to new technologies and changes in the world. This ability helps them navigate the fast-paced, ever-evolving landscape of the 21st century. 🌍💬🌱🌈🔄

I know there are many hurdles in teaching students with digital tools still in some schools where there is lack of resources but we being a teacherknow that we have mobile which is actually the main resource. We can search for such activities that help our teaching methodology to teach our students at the best use of technologies. Climate change is the main issue.we can go for searching some website that best deals with this issue and teach our students.

    As-salamo-alaiqum Brother,
You've perfectly outlined the key traits of 21st-century digital natives—how technology shapes their communication, global awareness, and commitment to social and environmental issues. It’s true that those of us who grew up in the 20th century may not be digital natives by birth, but we are very much part of the 21st-century digital landscape. Our adaptation to new technologies and our engagement with digital platforms demonstrate that we are indeed integrated into this evolving world. The digital age is all-encompassing, and regardless of when we were born, we all contribute to and are influenced by its dynamic nature.

  • @Sanjay-Kumar-1 hi there dear,

Thanks for your reply. I agree that technology affects everyone, no matter when we were born. Even if we didn’t grow up with digital tools, we’re all part of this changing world. It’s interesting to see how technology shapes us all. Looking forward to more discussions on this topic!

  • @Mariam Aslam o Alaikum dear,
Keeping in view the new rules of this forum, and your noteable points on the topic, I think making students aware of digital tools and climate change is crucial. Even with limited resources, our mobile phones can be powerful assets. We can leverage them to find engaging activities and resources that enhance our teaching methodology. For instance, we can explore websites focused on climate change education and use interactive content to make lessons more impactful. Integrating these digital tools not only supports our teaching but also helps students connect with real-world issues. Let’s make the most of the technology available to us to educate and inspire our students.
Hope we will discuss more on the topic.
