    • Life Skills (Teaching Empathy)

      FB_IMG_1749096835431.jpg
To build emotional intelligence in students is crucial these days as it helps students to build a good community. So I keep introducing role playing scenarios in my class related to real life challenges the people who are going through whether they are ups and downs or the struggle in their lives. I observed, it not only improved communication skills of my students but also deepened their sense of empathy. Apart from teaching I am a social person so I believe that social emotional learning is as important as academics.
May I know what creative strategies do you use to teach life skills in your class/school?

    • Artificial Intelligence a question mark?

Have your ever asked these questions to yourself?

Does using AI limit our brain's natural learning process?
Can Ai teach us critical thinking?
Does it help teaching emotional and empathy learnings?
Do you think students today are thinking less critically because of AI, or are they simply thinking differently?
Can we train our students to use AI as a tool to enhance their own reasoning?
Has Ai stopped our thinking capacity?

In this digital world, I believe that students are naturally drawn to interactive and fun experiences. Introducing gamification techniques in the classroom helps students participate equally, punctuality, learning in an enjoyable environment and a good feedback. And such activities also help students became more engaged and motivated. As I have experienced gamification doesn’t require expensive tools; even a basic activities can work. And recycling of the used material also work.
Anyway, has anyone else tried this? and how do you see the gamification teaching method?
