• Teaching without resources

While resources can enhance teaching, they are not essential. Teaching students without resources can be done in various ways:

1.Use story telling to convey lessons through personal experiences, anecdotes, or historical events.

2.Critical thinking and dialogue are encouraged through group discussions in discussion-based learning.

3.Real-life scenarios can be used to teach social skills, empathy, and problem-solving through role-playing.

4.Pairing students with peers or community members for guidance and support can be a part of mentorship.

5.Outdoor learning involves using nature and the environment to instruct in science, math, and other subjects.

6.Peer-to-peer teaching is a way to encourage students to teach each other, which in turn promotes leadership and collaboration.

7.Debates develop critical thinking, research, and public speaking abilities.

8.Encourage students to write reflective journals to reflect on their learning and identify goals.

9.Engaging with the community can be done by inviting guest speakers or organizing community service projects.

    1. Adaptability, creativity, teamwork, and creativity can be taught through improvisational games.

    2. To teach history and values, share cultural stories, myths, and legends through oral traditions.

    3. Encourage students to design and lead their own projects to promote autonomy and innovation.

Remember, the most essential resource is the teacher's creativity, passion, and dedication to student learning.

  • @Kalimullah-Memon Aslam o Alaikum dear sir,
Sir, you have exceeded my expectations. You mentioned in your first post that you are busy, yet your update shows that students are learning effectively without instructional materials. Despite the absence of boards and technology, there is still noticeable enhancement in their knowledge. I know you have valuable insights to share, please consider posting them here. It’s truly impressive!

  • Dear respected Sir, my topic is about the conditions like in our areas. Last night, I was talking with my friend Abdul ghani Vighio, a primary teacher, about teaching in the 21st century. He said to me that how I can teach without resources? So I thought most of our teachers asked the same question so I have decided to share my idea teaching without resources.
Our goal is to teach our students at any cost. So we do not wait for resources. We have to go alternate methods that I already discussed.

  • @Kalimullah-Memon Absolutely Sir,
the most essential resource is the teacher's creativity, passion, and dedication to student learning.

  • @Kalimullah-Memon For example, activities that include role-play, conversations, debates and simple games that do not require certain materials or objects, as you can communicate a lot and ensure students are having fun. An idea for a simple and fun game is “two truths and a lie”.

    Jazak Allah dear respected sir

  • @Kalimullah-Memon Although it depends on the situation, a teacher's creativity is crucial and can enable teaching in various ways. However, in today’s world, having resources is essential to enhance the education level and meet daily challenges effectively.

  • @Kalimullah-Memon

This is a very interesting topic that we teachers face at the beginning of the academic year. We all struggle with the shortage of books. As you mentioned; the main thing is the creativity of the teacher, to create resources themselves. In my point of view, these creative resources can be very effective for motivation as well as enhancing students' engagement and understanding. When teachers create their own resources, they can tailor them to meet the specific needs and interests of their students, making the learning experience more personalized and impactful.

  • Thanks for your precious comments respected sir.
We are all learners, we need such type of motivations from our respected teachers as we continue our work at our places.

  • @Kalimullah-Memon Thanks a lot, dear colleague for these thoughtful ideas. I'm convinced that creative and dedicated teacher and a suitable content can make a difference in many students' learning.Resources can't alone make this difference in learning without a guide and a facilitator who directs the students' attention to the best way to learning.
