    Lifelong Learning Festival - UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities

    On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Global Network of Learning Cities, the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), with the support of East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, will host the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities Lifelong Learning Festival from 30 October to 3 November 2023.
    This festival will highlight the achievements and progress made by learning cities worldwide. It will showcase the transformative power of lifelong learning in promoting sustainable development, fostering global citizenship, and improving health and well-being at the local level, with a global impact.

    The festival is open to the participation of all interested stakeholders including in the online format.

  • UNESCO IITE in cooperation with the International Institute for Capacity Building in Africa (IICBA) invites to the webinar ‘Digital Technologies for Disability Inclusion: All Learners on Equal Terms’.

    • Supporting teachers and school personnel for inclusive teaching and learning practices
    • Building safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environments, including parents’ and community’s involvement
    • Ensuring access to assistive technologies and inclusive ICTs
    • The transition from school to labor market
