• EDUCATION SYSTEM IN MULTIGRADE CLASSES

Hi everyone! What do you think about the multigrade classes when you go in the classroom and you face different types of challenges there?
I'm a primary school Teacher in Sindh,It is very interesting for me that when i go to school and enter in my classroom and meet with my beloved and cooperative students,at the time i usually feel very happy with them, at there, are multigrade classes from grade 1st to 5th with multigrade gender and multiple ages from 3years to 11 years ages.
I always try to motivate my students according to the curriculum,it is too much difficult but very helpful for teaching experience to teach the multiple students.
When I share my ideas and teach the students, same time my knowledge also increase, and feel always very informative as like I'm not teaching, I'm learning by my kids.

  • @AliHassan83 Sir you are doing good work. the situation does not seem ideal. you might feel more challenges. I appreciate your dedication and commitment. keep it up..

  • @Imamuddin-Khaskh thanks ada for your encouragement.

  • @AliHassan83 Multigrade teaching involves a single teacher managing two or more grade levels within the same classroom at the same time. This differs from the more common monograde system where one teacher is responsible for a single grade level. Different terms, such as "mixed-age," "composite class," or "vertical grouping," may be used to describe these settings, but "multigrade" is the most widely used.
    Reasons for Multigrade Classes:

  • @Imamuddin-Khaskh In many parts of the world, particularly in rural or spa**ely populated areas, multigrade classes arise from the lack of sufficient teachers, classrooms, or students to justify separate classes for each grade level.

  • @AliHassan83 Small schools with low student numbers often find it necessary to combine grades to maintain a functional educational setting.

  • @AliHassan83 Students in multigrade settings interact with a wider range of ages and abilities, promoting social skills, empathy, and a sense of community.

  • @AliHassan83 Teachers can tailor instruction to individual student needs and learning styles, offering differentiated activities and support based on each student's strengths and areas for growth.
