• SUSTAINABLE LEARNING CIRCLE: A JOURNEY INTO 21ST CENTURY EDUCATION

As a dedicated teacher from a Hyderabad of Pakistan, I launched the Sustainable Learning Circle, a project focused on empowering 13–15-year-old girls through English language learning, digital tools (like AI & Canva), and creative thinking.

Despite limited access to smartphones and internet, these young learners are engaging through WhatsApp-based activities where they:

    Practice English through real-life tasks

Learn to use digital platforms like Canva and ChatGPT

Explore topics related to sustainability, innovation, and climate action

    Our Project Supports the SDGs:

SDG 4: Quality Education – by ensuring inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for girls.

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure – by introducing AI and digital skills for future readiness.

SDG 13: Climate Action – through discussions and creative tasks highlighting environmental responsibility.

This is not just a project — it’s a movement towards equity, innovation, and sustainability in education. I am excited to share our journey and learn from other passionate educators in the Teaching in the 21st Century 3.0 community! 💡📱📘

    Hello Dear Colleagues,
As I mentioned earlier regarding the Sustainable Learning Circle, my students are currently working on the topics of Artificial Intelligence and Canva. I am doing my best to facilitate and support them during this time.

Our current focus is “Quality Education in My Vision.” Although we are observing summer vacations and the students are working from home, many of these girls do not have access to modern smartphones or reliable internet/data. Despite these challenges, the students who are responding are truly shining with their efforts and enthusiasm.
Here Im sharing link to some of my girls work.

I will love to hear from you all.
    Regards

Your video and description clearly show how the Sustainable Learning Circle combines language learning with digital literacy and civic awareness , a powerful and meaningful blend.

Despite the challenges, especially with limited access to devices and internet, your commitment and creativity are truly admirable. You’re not only teaching English, you’re also empowering young girls to become active, informed, and confident citizens.

Bravo for aligning your work with the SDGs in such a practical way!
Looking forward to seeing how this journey evolves and learning more from your experience. 🙌

How do others here integrate digital tools and SDG themes into their teaching, especially when resources are limited? Would love to hear different perspectives
