• Learning to Preserve Nature Together

Students of Sehriyo High School initiated a project to teach younger students about smart waste sorting and nature conservation. As part of the project, senior students conduct regular lessons for students in grades 1-4, explaining the importance of waste sorting and proper waste management.

The project includes practical lessons where younger pupils learn to distinguish between types of garbage and sort them correctly. The high school students have also prepared informative tutorials that contain simple and visual instructions on how to conserve nature. These tutorials help younger students to understand how their everyday actions can affect the environment.

The goal of the project is to develop environmental awareness in junior high school students from an early age and to teach them skills that will help them to conserve nature and take care of the planet. High school students act as mentors, which strengthens the bond between students of different ages and contributes to the creation of a friendly and responsible school community.

  • @Shakhnoza Amazing my friend. Hence, inefficiencies in waste management thwarts the sustainable development of cities. Smart waste management can help improving the waste management services of cities by pursuing strategic goals, including waste reduction, waste collection and transport optimization, and waste treatment optimization.

  • Hello ShaKhnoza
Learning to preserve nature together strengthens community bonds and promotes effective environmental stewardship through collaborative education programs, hands-on activities like tree planting and clean-up drives, and initiatives such as community gardens and urban farming. Participating in citizen science projects and advocating for sustainable policies further enhances these efforts. Sharing resources and knowledge through online forums and local meet-ups, as well as encouraging intergenerational learning, ensures that conservation practices are passed down and continuously improved. This collective approach fosters a culture of sustainability and more impactful, lasting conservation efforts.

    Yeap you are absolutely right.
The most important aspect of this project is the powerful connection it creates between older and younger students. It fosters mentorship, empathy, and a shared sense of responsibility for learning and growing together. Seeing older students engage with younger ones builds confidence and a sense of community within the school.
