• What features do you consider when choosing a school for a child.

In today's world, where there are hundreds of private and government schools, each school has its own strengths and weaknesses. Government schools offer free education, but according to some people, the quality of education, learning, and practical aspects may not be as good. Similarly, private schools have their own syllabuses and methods of teaching. Some people believe that schools with higher fees are considered better.

Some well-regarded schools in Pakistan where IT and ICT are taught seriously include Lahore Grammar School (LGS), Roots Millennium Schools, and Beaconhouse School System.

In your opinion, where should parents enroll their children? It depends on their individual needs and preferences. It's important for parents to consider the academic quality, facilities, teacher qualifications, and overall environment of the school before making a decision. Choose a school that can better meet your child's development and learning needs.

  • @FarhanMehboob very interesting topic that almost confuse us that which school is the best for our child education. As for as concerned quality of education the government institution now days going better, if we talk about curriculum that is very old, traditional and used local languages in all books specially science and social study in our Sindh province. So often we prefer private institution have better curriculum as compare to government. In my opinion those private institute are going best who have their network of schools because these institute going to the way of planned academic system whole of the year so the management of schools can carry on the learning process.

  • @FarhanMehboob now a days government trying their best to facilitate the poor children to get best free education under the supervision of highly qualified teachers but when we have question to choose a school we prefer private sector .......

  • @Saima-Abbasi-08 Aslam o Alaikum dear,

It is true that many parents who can afford school fees, dress codes, books, stationery, and transportation costs often choose private schools for their children, without thoroughly assessing the quality of education, faculty, or daily tasks involved. However, the government offers excellent educational facilities, free textbooks, and a quarterly stipend of 3,000 rupees or more to each student. The SELD GoS is fully equipped and dedicated to providing every necessary resource and support for students right at their doorstep.

Moreover, government schools are committed to offering a well-rounded education with qualified teachers and a structured curriculum. They also focus on the holistic development of students by providing various extracurricular activities and support services. By choosing government schools, parents can ensure their children receive a quality education without the financial burden associated with private institutions. It is important for parents to consider the full range of benefits offered by government schools and not just the associated costs.

Thanks @FarhanMehboob for choosing this topic.

  • @FarhanMehboob Sir in our village there are no private schools. Here only one government school, other government schools are miles away and the villagers are very poor. They can't afford to pay for it.

  • @Burfatmukhtiar Thank you Sir for the reply. I need to know your thoughts on this topic please.
